@@gooberspad27video that's awesome brother ur good at it mybe one day I get close lol I need a good wheel and tampo and 3D parts guy that would help my builds alot
@@oldscoolcooldiecast1879 oh ya the customizing game has come so far these days with the 3D parts. I’ve noticed you can find a decent amount of stuff on eBay now.
@@gooberspad27video im not sure. I used to do social media but i quit all of that facebook, twitter, and instagram stuff, but im not sure about youtube. Ive not had the luck of finding them on youtube either. Im gonna ask my hotwheel buddy to see if he can locate any info on them over fb. We just had a small show here in my town, and i purchased, what i consider to be, an AWESOME general lee custom in a 1/18 scale, and it was created by these Kaplain brothers. The guy who sold it to me claims they only do 4 of every custom, but im a serious collector of Dukes memorbillia, and i managed to pay 150 dollars for the car. It has a copper orange color in sort of a spectraflame design, so its not the traditional orange you think of when thinking of the general, but it reminded me of a very popular episode entitled, "The Ghost of The General Lee" where the car seems to glow a neon orange.
@@vaccumsealed that’s super cool!!! The car sounds badass!!! I’ll try and look them up though and see if I find anything. Thanks for the info! The dukes is an all time fav tv show of mine.
Thanks! The card is a treasure hunt card, the wheels are off an old premium hot wheels, no decals.. all hand painted details, and the paint is duplicolor spray paint.
Do you hand paint your cars or use an airbrush? Incredible detailing though man and after watching a couple of your videos you got another sub right here 🤘🏻
I saw your vid about tips for lowering a car in where you shave the inner lip of the hot wheels wheel wells, do you happen to have a vid of you showing the entire lowering process? I want to see how you get the axles to sit on the plastic chassis to get the lowering effect. Thanks for reading this, your collection is easily within the best of the best.
Thank you. I don’t have a vid of all of it. But you cut notches in the axle hold downs (interior piece) so the axle can sit up higher. Which lowers the car. And trim interior as needed
delicate work right there, couldn't tell you how many times I had to re-strip a casting because I slipped doing this. Nicely done, and thanks for sharing
Yeah man one tiny slip and it’s over with lol. I know that pain all too well. I think I end up holding my breath even trying to be as steady as possible. Thanks for watching!
@@steveskuras2515 honestly I have no idea lol. I don’t know if you can even on here. If you used Instagram. Look up my profile on there. It’s “gooberspad”
