It's a team effort for sure, no doubt about it. Everyone knows what they have to do and when to do it. Rope management would be key, I imagine, doing it properly as the pots come aboard, would be key to making sure no issues when they go back out. Great crew, great video, and thanks for sharing 🙂
I remember the stone house at 10:37. In the park's early days, it was known as the House of Illusions and visitors were greeted by a mysterious figure who magically appeared in a picture frame near the entrance. I don't recall it being especially scary, but it could be disorienting. It looks like it had been an actual residence at one point, though, which I did not know about until now. Thanks for sharing this video; I had not seen the inside of the park since 1992 or so. Any idea what ever became of the huge CNR locomotive that was just to the right of the main entrance?
Hi Nova scotian. Yes you are in Viking territory. The name Leif has nothing to do with leafs like on a tree. As a Norwegian I can tell you it is of a very old tradition and mean more something like the inheretent , like someone that will take something over. Quite a common name in Norway at least. And it is pronounced more like the word left- Leif. But it is obviously old and the cross and everything. Is there any experts saying anything about it ?
Not many experts have looked at this, most pass it off as a hoax. Maybe someday someone will really look into this area and make a final conclusion on it. Thanks for your info on Leif.
Never buy a sea ray. Pretty on the outside and inside , but junk takes an act of congress to replace a simple bilge pump. Not to mention Basic engine work. No access.
@@novascotianexplorer9154 It was back in the day. My great great grandfather built it in the late 1800's/early 1900s, I don't know the exact year. It didn't take too long to deteriorate after my father moved out following my mother's passing. It was just too far gone, and now it's just.... sad.

Absolutely! Each ticket has an ID # ; each Province has their specific set of numbers, then numbers for the city, town, area the ticket was purchased in! Just to confuse us there is a Retailer # where it was bought, a Wager ID 12 numbers then 57 numbers. Their computer knows which numbers have been bought, not been bought & which Province - INSTANTLY - It’s a huge scam!!!! The website shows balls rolling out of a big glass ball….gives them time to pick where they want the win!!!! Huge money making scam!!!! I would love to figure out how to buy tickets in Ontario! Yes, that province has a population of 15 mil, BC 5 mil so you would think Ont wins 3 times the BC wins but it’s much higher, specially when you add up the special wins, guaranteed prizes! Nearly all of Lotto Max are empty, they choose unpurchased ticket numbers!!!! Ont, WC, Que majority of wins. The lottery says majority of winners are in Nunavut, baloney!!!!!! Ever since the Lotto 649 changed to the gold/white ball bs, the gold ball is rarely, if ever, claimed before it reaches at least 50 million+. The OLG knows that is when lotto fever hits and when ppl buy the most tickets and the olg can make the most profits. The way the virtual draws happen is manipulated to solely drive the jackpots to the profitable amount (50 million+). The probability of drawing the gold balls doesnt even make sense since this change started! The OLG controls when the top prize hits (as they can easily compute number patterns that werent drawn) and they control when the gold ball is drawn in order to maximize profits. They dont care about anything below the top prize as those wins dont cut into their profits.
Yeah, until they make physical ball drawings it looks way too suspicious. It's no different than a mafia back saying their slot machine isn't rigged. That and the fact a computer is incapable of generating a random number. So that alone already makes the system flawed The fact they make it so you can't claim it anonymously makes it suspicious to me, because it seems like they're trying to cover it up. "Look at this this person won. They're real!"
Lottery is used to pay system's agents openly. If you have served the cause for a decade or two, they can assign you a number and then punch it into the computer from their end, and transfer those funds to you.
I used to work there ... The year before it was closed. I am not surprised it closed with how it was being run. It's a shame though. It was a great idea for kids to do. The haunted house was actually haunted - the man who used to live there hung himself in the basement 😢 I am more sad for him and what they will do to the house ???
