6:40 I only get Set Skeletal Mesh Asset and it does not have the Pose pin yours has. Its the only thing different that I can find cause mine did not work.
This is Rig Offset, not animation editing, to edit is something like cutting an animation or values. This video should be called "Backed Rig Offset" not "Edit animations in unreal"
Can you create a new video showing how to implement the new motion matching temple that was just released with a standard third person character. Starting with a brand new blank project basically.
great guide! I'm trying to do a 2D shooter platformer and can't figure out how to make a character shoot at the mouse cursor location. I will be really thankful if you could guide me on this
How well does it work with untypical body proportions? I am really tall, but I want to do motion capture for a stocky dwarf. Would adjusting the height of the mocap be possible?
soon today I finished it and sent to my publisher, just want to test for bugs should of not taken this long but I took a break will make full video when its done
Please can you make a tutorial to put the "Animation Motion Matching Sample" of Unreal engine in True first person? And if possible reduce the head bob in this one because it's nauseating XD
and here I was dragging all my meshes above my map and screenshotting them so I could fight to crop them to look the same outside the engine. Thank you, good sir...
Im new to gamedev. Just built a workstation and have bought some amazon books on unreal engine to get myself started. There are a lot of really great teachers here on youtube, like yourself. But, one video that i can't seem to find is what a completed game looks like, from a file/folder structure standpoint, and how it all ties together in the end when it's packaged. From the desktop icon through beginplay, to quit to desktop. I would be forever grateful if you could make a video that encompasses this so i can understand how these puzzle pieces fit together. My plan is to try and make a minecraft-like game, but as "smooth" as I can feesibly make it on relatively high-end hardware.
WHERE WAS THIS VIDEO 4 WEEKS AGO WHEN I NEEDED THIS xD!! I ended up using print screen on the object in game and then removing background using paint. It was NOT pretty -_-
So what do you suggest which is the best course on udemy to learn GAME development from 0/scratch to intermediate or high level using blueprint and C++ both
Can you publish a detailed explanation in a video on your RU-vid channel about a soldier player who follows the orders of an AI commander, such as Coll of Duty?
Do you have a video on an in game money system? I’m looking to make a menu where things can be sold or other options with a 3D asset view of the item. Say you capture an animal and you can sell them, send them to your field, or stuff them. All for different money options some giving money some taking money.
I keep getting sent towards the camera and off my platform the second time i use a trampoline (and occasionally when hitting the bottom of collision boxes.) Any ideas why?
nvm figured it out: search "constraint" in the details of your character and check "constrain to plane." then in the "plane constraint normal" dropdown menu set Y to 1.0.
Hello, really great video. This will help me with one or two of my projects. I want to start a new project in August. It will be my final project for my undergraduate degree in graphics and design. I want to create a small RPG. I still need an idea for a character creator. Can you perhaps make a video for a basic character creator so that I can perhaps get an idea of how to set something like this up? - That would make me very happy, as I haven't yet found anything that would really suit my project.
is there a way to optimize the panoramic view on firt and third person? like set low quality textures and draw distance the thos elements are not on the view always? or this is already cover the subject?
Excellent content thanks. Just a tip maybe you could fix your audio a bit better though. Just run it through adobe podcast enhance (podcast.adobe.com/enhance#) for free. The hiss will be gone, the low end rumbling of your keyboard strokes that ratlle my subwoofer will be gone and your voice will sound like a professinal podcast. I tried it for you drive.google.com/file/d/1Fq0MuNhthL6AxleHg9gHUoPYrJsMjc05/view?usp=sharing
