I believe in you I believe in you I believe in you Meet me then When I stand next to them, I love most The ones I’ll be raised with The ones who knew in this world That they truly belong to Him Meet us there
That’s a flame so bright that it touches everything your eyes takes in For Him alone That is when For Him alone Only then will you understand How we who long for Him Seeeverything You are His as much as I am Our souls have met before Our souls may meet again In the next But don’t wait for then to be His, spark a flame It lives inside you Do not wait for another day Spark it and set off a chain reaction By truly belonging to Him You do anyways When the veil is removed You will either be shocked in fear Or you will be greeted by a bliss No living being can explain
And to you dear one You are not so foreign Inside of you There is a flame A fire that burns And some of us see And many of us don’t And some of us see As I see Don’t let your fire dim Do not allow the plastics in You will melt it all away Or burn it in your wake I hope that someday, you’ll see That inside you A flame bright and pure Burns for all the right reasons You may have done Me wrong But all it takes Is for you to be and shine as brightly, WITHOUT the limelight But from within I’ll be proud of you then And the damage you’ve done Will be undone Scars I’ll wear with a dignified pride that these scars are mine and traced by your arm Be What I know u can be ONLY For His sake alone That’s a fire that no one can ever put out
Do not bring me minions that give me a promise of meeting Allah. You should know by now, that there are some of us, who long to be With Allah SWT And who have honour And faith Honour and faith trumps plastic intimidation in ways I hope everyone around you can recognize someday Honour and faith Are what legends are made of
I am different than you are But through this journey We might someday see That what makes us different Isn’t so foreign Perhaps I too Just as you Are what you should have remembered All along
You do not need minions with pretty tattoos You need goodness around you I can’t promise we can ever be close But I can make duaas for you To be His eyes His guiding light And perhaps one day Over a cup of coffee A large group of the ones worthy Can gather and smile And never again frown Nor ever use harsh words When speaking to people who ought to be loved
This is what I want And a new chapter for both of us What’s been shattered I can pick up Put back together with crazy glue I’ll see the scars A reminder of what we’ve now become But what was broken now whole And tho the reminder remains for an eternity You and I Can be the people we were meant to be
