I was listening to the radio yesterday and the radio edit came on. it said RADIO EDIT. this is the only version of the song I can find. any chance you have that version? Thanks so much! either way- banger of a song!!
I've had Abkhazia and Flood Tide on repeat all of this morning. Abkhazia from 4:10 onwards is pure magic. The album slowly but surely grows on you as per usual 10/10 once again.

Finally found it! - I KNEW the original cut of this track had a different vocalist that was NOT Brandi Emma. Who is she? I much prefer this version, her voice is more powerful and distinctive and her accent adds to that cool European house vibe. Though it seems this (the best) version has been largely forgotten. What a shame.
It was a promo only. Not sure how it ended up on the internet in the first place, or even where I fetched it from back in the day... But the vocals do indeed have their own unique charm. No clue who she is, though...
I really wanted to go It hurt me too much to stay I ran away so fast That my heart couldn't find a way And then you came along And I was tired of my sadness It seemed as though my life went on But the feeling didn't last And then you came along... Holding on to everything that's gone Saving my life from moving on Thinking of what else I could have done It wasn't meant to be (When I was lost and found) (Lost and found) (My life went on) (But I was lost and found) Holding on to everything that's gone Saving my life from moving on Thinking of what else I could have done It wasn't meant to be (Lost and...) (Lost and...) (Lost and found) I was back on my feet You could say I was barely walking But the cut was deep And I was holding on to the past And then you came along... Holding on to everything that's gone Saving my life from moving on Thinking of what else I could have done It wasn't meant to be (When I was lost and found) (Lost and found) (My life went on) (But I was lost and found) Holding on to everything that's gone Saving my life from moving on Thinking of what else I could have done It wasn't meant to be He had stolen my illusions And I needed them so badly I grew tired of my confusion 'Cause he was still there Everywhere You came along And I was lost and found Lost and found My life went on But I was lost and found You came along When I was stuck in the past There was a new life in sight But I was blind And then you came along... Holding on to everything that's gone Saving my life from moving on Thinking of what else I could have done It wasn't meant to be (When I was lost and found) (Lost and found) (My life went on) (But I was lost and found) Holding on to everything that's gone Saving my life from moving on Thinking of what else I could have done It wasn't meant to be And then you came along... Holding on to everything that's gone Saving my life from moving on Thinking of what else I could have done It wasn't meant to be (When I was lost and found) (Lost and found) (My life went on) (But I was lost and found) Holding on to everything that's gone Saving my life from moving on Thinking of what else I could have done It wasn't meant to be It wasn't meant to be...
Sounds a lot like another song he made called rain or something. I think it had vocals, maybe it's the same song but vocal version had a different name? I don't know
You are correct. Toby had pitched "Mine" as an instrumental for Freda to add her vocals to, and wound up rewriting the song, which then became known as "Rain". Same story with his track "Dependance", which became "Far Away"... I also happen to have both of these uploaded, if you head over to my channel page and search up the tracks.
