Hi, my client has given 10 APIs which are in sequence(correlated one to other). 10th API is the submit API to place the order. Now they say 21 orders/second. So should the load per second be 10APIs * 21orders placed=210 requests / second??
My company's idea of a datamesh was "the use case teams now make the data available via Postgres". No restructuring of teams, of course. Now that we finally are getting Trino to access all these databases, we're about to move to Azure / Databricks. Goodbye legacy datalake, and Data Mesh, hello DataLakeHouse 😅 At least our hardware scaling issues should be solved - too long to get more CPU or Drive Storage. Should be fixed now, at least.
The only thing missing from this discussion is convincing the business that continuous delivery is a good thing. In my experience, they often are scared of constantly deploying changes (even if they are turned off with feature toggles) to production all the time.
I'll always be happy to see accessibility options in products I use, even when I don't use them (like color-blind options). Shows the company behind said product is (at least somewhat) thoughtful of humanity in general.
Predictive text on current-gen phones is still a patch on top of a crappy solution. The T9-pad (or whatever its actually called) on ye olde Nokia phones have always been the superior solution due to its physical nature. You could even blindly (heh) send a text to someone. Something that has been lost with the coming of the SmartPhone.

Rust is definitely not hype, already has very serious mainstream traction. Zig certainly has the potential, but not serious mainstream adoption (yet!). Zig is definitely not hype. Carbon, I like the idea of it, but it's in extremely slow development. I think it's going to miss its window of opportunity. So I wouldn't necessarily call Carbon hype, it will just be a Johnny-come-lately to the party and probably therefore not see widespread adoption, if and when it's even finished.
Have you ever consider how much carbon dioxide a human can breathe out every day? This whole carbon footprint thing is complete nonsense. Please focus your energy on doing actually good stuff for humanity. Not something sounds good but evil.
