Karl Wolf is a Lebanese-Canadian musician who was raised in Dubai and is currently based in Toronto. He began his career as a producer and songwriter, amassing sales of over 1 million albums before launching his solo career. In 2004, he released his single “Butterflies,” which became the first A-pop (Arabic pop) song, earning Karl Wolf the title “Father of A-pop”. The single was featured on his debut album, Face Behind the Face (2006), which earned a JUNO Award (Canadian GRAMMYs) nomination for Best R&B Soul Recording. In 2007, he released his second album, “Bite the Bullet”, which included the international hit single “Africa.” This track sold over 1 million units worldwide and spent eight weeks at #2 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. “Africa” achieved quadruple-platinum status in Canada, reaching #1 on iTunes and various radio charts, and earned him a 2008 MTV Europe Music Award. Karl co-wrote OMI's hit “HULA HOOP” which has surpassed 250,000,000 streams on Spotify!
This song reminds me of my uncle. In 2019,He was involved in road accident and his skull was badly damaged😮, usually when I was traveling by car, I could play this song.
