A couple of questions if you don't mind. Where specifically were you fishing? When were you there? What kind of rod holders are those? I was on Taneycomo for a couple of days and tried everything I could think of, and got skunked. Not even a nibble. I was there 10/7/23 - 10/9/23. We started drifting from Lilleys Landing, and went quite a way.

2023 are you still fishing for crappie

Seems to work well and very clear imaging so far

Not light but one hell of a rod. Pulled in a 5-6ft sturgeon no problem paired with an 8500 reel. Tip is fast enough to see even the small bites.

You DID jerk the rod to set the hook, and #1 or #2 are too big for bluegill. I'm afraid I'll be skipping your product.

I been using #6 and 8 for gills etc. for more years than this POS team Catfish has been around. The TC hooks are just garbage chinese copies of Gama's....but with a much higher price tag to rip you off..

Nice video. I love Taneycomo and usually fish the 65 bridge area. We you down closer to Rockaway Beach area? I didn't recognize the area you were fishing, but it may just be the view from the video. Good idea Just wish it was longer and a little wider to measure bigger crappie but luckily I live in Texas and the minimum length on crappie here is 10 inches and not over 12 inches like some of the Mississippi lakes

For bluegills I use a Gamakatsu # 8 Octopus Circle hook.
