Hi, I'm Vicky! I'm a UK travel blogger at vickyflipfloptravels.com but I also make weekly videos here on RU-vid. I've been travelling the world for the last 9 years, just y'know, seeing what's what and having some awesome adventures along the way.
I was a digital nomad for 3 years - it was awesome - but now I live in sunny Southsea on the south coast of England. I travel as much as the budget lets me though and mix up cheapo backpacking travel with the occasional luxury adventure. I want to use my RU-vid channel to introduce you to parts of the world you've not yet considered visiting, and to help you explore the parts you have, better.
I’m all about the local food, the adventures, and the festivals, and I’m also partial to a spot of skiing, yoga and cycling here and there too.
Please get in touch if you'd like to collaborate, or have any travel-related questions, and feel free to subscribe!
We used to have a time-share at Rhinfield house when I was a kid. We used to go horse riding on the moores, walking for miles, cosy meals. Some of the best childhood memories being there.
It sounds like a potentially great concept, but if you're travelling with elderly relatives who don't have smartphones, or with folks who may want to return at different times, it may actually be an inconvenience. Also, in some places, especially in London, you're literally inviting people to steal your phone!

I've never fumbled for my tickets before. I've only left left in one pocket, so easier to find without trouble. Not been on a train now since 2016, so all this tech stuff is way out of my league. Just a bit wary of using my phone around crowds as I find its easy to be pickpocketed.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Bran Castle had nothing to do with Dracula (Vlad the Impaler)... His castle is actually called Poenari Castle and is located in Arefu, Romania. You should check it out! A much creepier experience!
I'm planning a Seoul/Busan/Jeju trip next month and your video is perfect to help me plan as I will also be going to Jeju December 1st. Thanks for the detailed tips! New subbie here =) looking forward to seeing more videos!
I love seeing this view of my hometown! Always fun to be had and new places to explore. I grew up here and have lived other places after college and with my career, but there's no place like home!
Thanks for the fun video! I'm planning to go around Christmas time. Some snow and cold are fine (and fun) to me, but if there are blizzards I might cancel it. Anyone know if these frequently occur around the end of december/first week of January?
