@@TheRealityChannel7-h7r I used ktuner myself. Both ktuner and hondata are amazing and super simple processes. Personally I would recommend ktuner on all 10th gen’s besides the type r. Usually Type R owners like to go with hondata but if you have a Si or Sport I would definitely recommend going with ktuner.
@@villusive Thank you so much my man! You are going to love your Si when you get one. It’s going on 2 years in January that I’ve had mine and I’ve loved every minute of it. Thanks for checking out the video. I hope you enjoyed💙
You have a '20 right? Do you have the rev-hang disabled in the KT? If so are you getting the throttle lag/ dead pedal issue that's been known to happen with the '20s?
Yeah I do have a 20 with rev hang disabled through my ktuner. I haven’t actually heard of the throttle lag/dead pedal you mentioned. Is there any idea what may be causing this issue?
You didn’t let your car warm up😢 please let your car idle and get warm if you plan on spooling the turbo as soon as you start driving not letting your turbo lube up completely will prematurely wear it out quicker than usual
@@money-timemilla8622 I actually did let the car warm up I just didn’t want to have 5 minutes of my car idling in the video. I always make sure to let the car warm up before leaving. Thanks so much for checking out the video. Hope you enjoyed!
@@JordanAckerman_I’m only telling you because I have a p3 gauge and your oil temp does take some time to warm up from what I’ve seen and that’s why I usually let the car fully warm up to operating temps, by then the oil is warm enough, I highly recommend a p3 gauge it tells you a lot of info on your car
I believe the squeaky noise you are hearing is coming from my endlinks. I have white line endlinks and for some reason they are kinda noisy. Definitely not normal lol. I appreciate you for checking out the video. I hope you enjoyed!
@@JordanAckerman_ I appreciate your advice!! I absolutely enjoyed the video!! I like that Civic & I was worried about the noise only, I want to know about the car as much as possible & I'm looking forward to your next videos!!
I really appreciate the kind words it means so much. I have a ton of fun making the videos so i definitely will continue. I truly appreciate the support. I hope you enjoyed💙
Now this a POV drive! love the video bro! Also did you have T/c all the way off? As some of those high rpm pull should def should've spun a bit. Not saying spinning is better but wont cut power and lets the car just eat!!
I actually did not have traction all the way off, just the stability control. Having traction fully disengaged like you mentioned definitely would prevent the car from cutting any power. Thank you so much for checking out the video. I hope you enjoyed!
nah I just downshift lol. To be honest I just don’t think about it as I am driving. Definitely something I should get better at though. I really appreciate you checking out the video. Hope you enjoyed!
Yeah the check engine light is from the catless downpipe I have installed. I am able to clear it with my Ktuner but eventually it will just pop back up so i don’t bother anymore. Thank you so much for watching the video. I hope you enjoyed!
@@JordanAckerman_ It happened to me too after installing the MAPerformance catted dp. I happened to clear it "permanently" (well, at least it didn't come on for more than 2 months since installation) by disengaging the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes. After putting the negative terminal back on and reloading the tune (i was using hondata instead of ktuner) the CEL never shows up again.
@@0MosDefinitely0 Yeah I was already so used to hitting the ok button for the light for my suspension, so it’s just one more step I do everyday when I get into my car💀
The screen above my radio is called a ktuner v2. I basically use it to keep control of my knock and keep and eye on temperatures. It isn’t necessary, but i think it’s useful and it looks nice. Thank you so much for checking out the video!
Thank you so much for watching. Currently on my car I have a Maperformance race catback exhaust, Prl Catless downpipe, Fk8 retrofit clutch and flywheel, tuned by twostepperformance on Ktuner, Prl Intercooler, PRL cobra cai, upgraded brakes. I have some other stuff i have installed on my so as well since. I plan on making a mod list video where I give a little run down of what i have done to my SI. Thank you so much for checking out the video.
I really appreciate the support! I just started college up so I’ve been pretty busy with school and work, but I should have a video coming out tomorrow. Thank you so much for checking out the video. I really appreciate it!
hey man! have the same exhaust but have you experienced scraping with it? Im lowered on D2 with an aggressive fitment and I find myself scraping a ton with this exhaust, any tips to align or remedy that?
What’s going on my man! To be completely honest with you im not sure if there is much you can do about scraping this exhaust. I’m lowered on bc coilovers and I scrape sometimes over speed bumps if I don’t got slow enough, or even if I go too too slow. Possibly making sure the hangers are all the way tight could help for sure. I really appreciate you for checking out the video. I hope you enjoyed!
Yeah I can definitely see where you are coming from. A lot of people think yellow lights make the vehicle look older which I could definitely understand. It definitely is cool being able to switch between the two. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed!
I have heard great things about their exhaust. I also do really like the look of the two tips. I really appreciate you checking out the video. I hope you enjoyed!
@@Estate_0f_Mind I would 100% recommend a 10th gen Si. I’ve had mine since January 3rd, 2023 and the only serious issue I had was with the clutch. Unfortunately the clutch isn’t the strongest on these 10th gen’s, so usually after a couple modifications you will feel the clutch start slipping. If you don’t plan on modifying yours, it should not start slipping until it’s old and just needs to be replaced anyways. I love driving mine everyday. Thanks so much for checking out the video!
Thank you so much! I honestly had no clue that mattered. I really appreciate you pointing that out for me, I will definitely be adjusting them. Thanks for checking out the video I hope you enjoyed!
I’ve heard great things about their catback. Have not had the opportunity to hear that exhaust in person unfortunately. Definitely a really nice look as well. Thank you so much for checking out the video. I hope you enjoyed!
@@TheRealityChannel7-h7r Yeah the full exhaust is 3 inch all the way. I currently still do have the stock front pipe as well. I have a feeling it’s going to sound a little to raspy if i did a frontpipe.
I haven’t messed with anything regarding the physical tune. In the video when I showed the different launch controls, I just set the 2step/rev limiter with the steering wheel controls. Whenever I want to hit redline, i usually set it to around 5,500-6,000 rpms which causes it to pop like that. Thank you so much for watching the video! I hope you enjoyed.
@@jackheaterr Thank you so much! That is definitely a great idea. I did not ppf them but I 100% should and probably will in the near future. Hope you enjoyed the video!
Yeah I could see where you are coming from. I would definitely love to hear the difference between the two in person. Thank you so much for checking out the video!
I love the sound. It would've been perfect if i was a double/triple tip rather than quad tips which I think they are just a bit too much. Don't mind me, just my personal preference.
@@0MosDefinitely0 I 100% agree with you. I think the look of three exhaust tips on these cars look the best. Reminds me of the oem exhaust on the fk8. Thank you so much for watching the video. I hope you enjoyed!
Hello. Thank you so much for watching the video. It definitely depends on what type of set up you are doing for. Personally, i like my exhaust pretty loud which is why i went catless with no mufflers and a small resonator. I’ve head great thinks about the greddy exhaust as well as the invidia exhaust.
I would recommend looking up “ catback exhaust for 10th gen civic sport coupe” and see if any of them catch your eye while also being in your price range. Most companies will say in the description of the item which models it will fit on. Just clarify that it will fit on you before you purchase it.
@@JordanAckerman_ Definitely Fr fr, I’ve been lookin into some cars since I’ll be gettin another soon, the 10th Gen si coupe has been on my radar for some time now
@@Frostymane.I would definitely recommend it. I got my SI January 3rd 2023 and I have loved every moment with it since. To be 100% honest with you, if you are looking to make anything over 400+ whp it is going to cost quite a lot compared to some other cars. I plan on making a mod list video very soon showing every part I have install on my Si and it adds up pretty quickly. A lot of people hate on the SI and would recommend to get a type r instead, but I love the look of the coupe and if you aren’t buying this car to be the fastest it’s an amazing car. I feel like I’ve done so much already, yet there is still so much I want to do🤣
@@JordanAckerman_ That's dope bro! Currently I drive an 07 TL, but I want somethin a bit more sports car-like or a sports car in general. I know these are capped at basically 400 and that's with some issues. But honesty, I just want a good daily with some decent power. I think I'm one of those people that would get an Si over the Type R🤣 I've been lookin into 8th Gen Si's, 10th Gen Si Coupes, G35's and 3v Mustangs.
Those are all great options especially the 8th gen si. I’m a Honda guy so of course im gonna be biased lmao but you honestly can’t go wrong with a SI for a daily driver.
yeah it really sucks they discontinued selling them. It took so long to find someone selling the downpipe on Facebook. Thank you so much for watching the video. I hope you enjoyed!
@@JordanAckerman_ never knew we had the same exhaust. Yea I’ve been looking on marketplace for a while to see if I can find one, if not, eventually I think I’m going to go with skunk2, since theirs is a front and down pipe combo
Currently I do not plan on getting the front pipe. Possibly down the line if I ever decide to switch up my catback, I would possibly get a front pipe. A catless fp/dp with the exhaust I have right now, I feel would be just a little too loud.
I’m not a huge fan of how Hondas sound in general, but I love how your car sounds Jordan. The turbo noise paired with the exhaust truly sounds magnificent. Keep up the great work on the channel.
It is so cool how you can change it to a colored option. I saw a Hyundai Genesis at a car meet i was at with headlights similar to yours. What i want to know is if that is legal to drive around with?
I would assume it is illegal to drive when the lights are changing colors, but I have passed cops with them on that mode and have not been pulled over. Definitely would not recommend it💀 Thank you so much for watching the video! I hope you enjoyed.
