My Niece rode with them for three years and they are a rush. Mostly current and past Rodeo Queens and most all are barrel racers. Some years ago they switched to LED lights and they are much brighter. They perform as pre-rodeo every night at the Snake River Stampede in Nampa, Idaho and they get the rodeo adrenalin pumping.
Out of curiosity for someone wanting to sign up for a competition, where do I apply, or find any information on the competitions coming up? Especially for lake Lowell?

swmplvr This is in Idaho during a several week hard freeze in late december. Lows were around -17 and highs in single digits and some day time highs never got above 0. All the fields were covered in a foot of frozen snow. The stars alligned for one last amazing hunt in open water. This corner had a spring feeding it and water temp was just enough to keep it open, but it was mostly open because several thousand birds were keeping it open all night and day.
swmplvr Its a free hunt if you have a good dog. Hahaha. I'm actually gunna go scout this spot here in a few minutes to see if we get lucky and have the birds like we did last year.
Waterfowler99, I live in WA and would like to fish the Snake. I have never fished it before so where to start is my question. I know you are not near much but if you could tell me a general area where to fish on the Snake I would really appreciate the help. Even if you do not give me info, I really like your videos and hope you will continue to make them. Thanks in advance for any info you will share with me.
Took my Dad out for an early morning outing on Lake Lowell on Monday July 10, 2017. Caught four 1-2 lb largemouth. On spinnerbait and crank baits. Good times.

We killed 21 with 3 guys in this hole on this day, about 2 weeks prior this pocket was holding about 2 thousand birds. It was during a hard freeze with all their feed covered in a foot of snow and the last hard push of migrators were using this spot. A hunt to remember.
