Unless you have dumb money, anything over say like $5k your paying for the name at that point. Would you trust a $14k Chinese watch brand? Most spending those dollars want a recognized name usually of Swiss or Japanese movements. Just seems like a very very very small market.......
Can someone please explain the gear wheels at 15:31, specifically: 1. Why are the gear teeth exactly triangular instead of slightly curved like “correct” gear teeth (for good meshing)? 2. Why 2 teeth of one gear wheel fit into 1 triangular space of the second gear wheel?!?!? Thanks in advance

the blue color isnt heating, its Anodized. In a salts bath with an electrical current equal to the color you want to make. Anodized aluminum/Titanium/steel. They do it a lot in modern chain maille
