Those particles are way bigger than the ones you typically find in the oil... but the principle is the same. This is a good representation of what happens in the sump. I'm always surprised that so few people use magnetic sump plugs. Magnetic sump plugs are a great idea: They remove about 50% of circulating Fe particles... even the tiny ones. Fe particles are one of the major contaminants in oil... so removing them from the oil noticeably improves oil quality. If you listen carefully you'll also notice that the engine gets quieter when there are less particles in the oil. Quieter engines mean there is less wear i.e. It's the particles in the oil that cause most of the wear. 🙂
@IIEvolution85II not to tue degree I did for an Audi S3 8V.. absolutely ridiculous, most are direct fit, not permanently removed sections of.tue car...Modifications should be able to be reversed !!!

At the beginning of the video, when installing the filler, the lid seems to have the logo upside down, but after minute 3 it appears "correctly." In my case I have it installed and it seems to be upside down, how did you turn it around?

Recherchez plutot sur google une photo d'un reservoir de lave glace de Golf 7 et vous comprendrez alors que nous savons tres bien de quoi nous parlons... sinon vous pouvez aussi avancer la video jusqu'a 12:20 pour y voir la mise en place du plug dans le reservoir toujours en place... #ecoutezceuxquisavent
Nice clear video, though the disc appears marked LH with the rotation arrow for the car's left side (also the direction of the slots, although some people say this doesn't matter. VW's own Clubsport S discs are a single part for both sides, so on one side the pattern of the drilled holes is going the "wrong" way)
Worst catch can for the GTI and one of if not the most expensive . Have to lose the majority of wiper fluid reservoir AND you gotta remove it to drain it everytime , quality materials , WORST design .
You don't have a scooby do what your on about. This is one of the best catch can kits out there for the MQB cars. You don't even have to remove the can to drain it, you can buy an additional drain line to make emptying it a doddle
So you have to buy a seperate relocation kit to retain the washer fluid reservoir and buy a seperate part to create a drain so it doesn't need to be removed to drain lol . Ya sounds like a great " solution " , OR just buy a set up that's not already overpriced and doesn't require a bunch of extras for practical function lmfao . But sure , listen to the salesman who needs to sell you something
I can't get my oil sensor to stop leaking. I noticed you put RTV on the actual sensor... is that ok??? The kit I bought did not come with a new sensor gasket.
