Derry is a shithole. I live here and there's nothing at all ''vibrant'' about it. Sure you'll always be welcomes to join in ''our craic'' at any of our local pubs. But that has nothing to do with assholes who promote or attempt to advertise it. Derry City council just wastes our money and the big companies who were destined to come to Derry, pulled out and relocated to shitholes like Coleraine or Belfast. Derry is a very sick and dying place to be.
@Nitefeatherz Are you saying to me here and now that scummy council estates and derelict buildings in the city centre are characteristics of a nice place? Just answer that question honestly.
@stucool17 I'm just going to stop replying to you- you are starting to sound like an emo teenager- there's ALWAYS a nice side to any place if you look hard enough- and your point of view isn't always going to be someone else's point of view regardless of what you say the area is like.
@Nitefeatherz Its not "arguably not a nice place", its not a nice place, FACT. There is no argument here, if you visit the city, you will be disappointed.

Its not "also known as" Londonderry its called fucking Londonderry. Nationalists call it Derry because they refuse to accept being part of the United Kingdom and take the "London" out for obvious (if not immature) reasons. I live in Londonderry and it really isnt anything to be proud of, the cityside is filled with council estates and lawless scumbags and only last night of the police stations in the city was car-bombed by dissidents. DONT COME HERE.
