Great video, i learned alot my question is my drive drums are really sloppy on the shaft, would replacing the needle bearings do it or should i replace drums and bearings. And also does the shaft wear down that much, or should i change the shaft also? I know its hard without seeing mine, also what are the part #s for drums, bearings and shaft? Again Great and informative video Cliff
Man setting that pin was ridiculous! I beat on that bastard a couple hours before I finally got it in place. Hope I never have to do this project again lol
Seriously? What lake are you on? That’s be a nice bit of information. The next video up was Newman Lake, but I don’t think you’re on Newman here... or are you?
*This was my first kayak⊳⊳>**share4.photo/HKayak?211** I've taken it out many times on various lakes around the Midwest. It's comfortable and spacious. I even took my three year old nephew out with me once and we both fit fine (I'm 5'4", 130 lbs). My dogs have jumped in with me too but I wouldn't recommend adding a 50 lbs dog. The storage container is big enough to pack a selfie stick, lunch, sunscreen and a Frisbee.*
My drive clicks when my left peddle is at 80% of full throw, under medium load. My dealer found nothing wrong, but didn’t demo it like I asked. Please share how your drive was clicking. Thank you very much.
Where do you get the black plastic piece, those square washers, and the nut and bolt to attach the transducer to the plate? Did they come with your transducer?
yes they come with the lowrance hook 2. the square washers did not come with it but I used round ones and the bolt they gave was too short I used a slightly longer one
The only thing I really grease is bearings, and the needle bearings still had some grease. I don't like putting too much, because it collects a lot of sand.
Good video it’s legit only thing is you forgot to put the battery installation. It’s important because I put the battery but forgot the FUSE and my fishfinder blew out 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Live just about 3 miles as the crow flies, to the west. I have 3 Outbacks, a PA12 and 2 9is's. Paddle it a lot, only fished it a few times. I'll have to get a license and give it a try... Thanks for sharing...
Bill Pelka wow sounds like quite a fleet! I am the director of the Tricity Kayak Anglers; feel free to reach out to me through there if you need any info.
