Ah man, I just subscribed to your channel, I just love the longer tutorial type videos showing us a step by step process of the full haircut. Please could you make more of these type of videos for us? 🙏🏼 Keep up the great content
Maybe, but take it for what it was: She is a model for a class where he was sharing techniques for education. When there is a set, art direction, and a story that you're creating- that is the time to take other things into account. This was sharing for the love of education.
This was interesting. It made me think that there are so many hairstyles we see in magazine, and instagram, that are just not reasonable as something your going to acheive on your own. They are art styles, just for the camera, easily messed up. Looks like he is a master with the bobby pins. He can do my hair.
Tuan is a master indeed. This is a genre of the business unto itself and is nothing like doing hair behind a chair. Editorial hair is incredibly difficult for licensed stylists so do feel bad about not being able to achieve these looks on your own. Thanks for watching.
Kelly, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with these videos. As an aspiring hair stylist, these videos have been so helpful to me and I'm sure many others. You're a very talented stylist and you convey your knowledge and expertise in an easy to understand manner. Very generous of you to do this. Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to comment this. I'm glad the information is helpful. At its core hairdressing is very simple if we let it be. Keep working and the decision making gets far easier. Let me know if you have any questions.
It is indeed a feather razor. I essentially only cut hair on the second and third tooth of the razor so basically any razor would do. Since I only use that area of the blade on one side I can flip the blade and use the other side until it also dulls.
Man, really appreciate these tutorials. It’s always inspiring not just watching you but hearing the why and how. My take away,a-ha moment from this is eyeing the control from your ring and pinkie. Thanks brother 🙏🏽
I call it an axe. I had one from Toni&Guy forever and recently had to replace it with this generic one. It works the same and is pretty easy to find. Side note: I pretty much exclusively use the small tooth side- more control.
