I also suffer from this condition! I live in the uk and I still have to work with this condition…..I am going through a grievance process as my boss has gotten rid of my job whilst I was in hospital after a lumbar puncture caused a spinal fluid leak and caused me to be seriously ill. It is one of the most painful and horrific conditions to fight as there is no cure and no real treatment. I just hope she gets the help she needs. Much love from the uk xxxx

I have also suffered a similar fate and have beeen denied help for disability for eight years…living on the fear of loosing the basic one because the government does not recognized my limitations until earlier this year…

I can't even afford my medical to not watch my body get deformed, if you actually have an audience you say you do, then you should be able to pay for it. My medication is $10 and I'm only eating one meal a day and still cannot afford it. Stop begging on the internet because people that don't have a following have it significantly worse. How about this, you have money, sell things to pay for it.
Sorry to hear you’re going through that and I wish you the best. However, I want to make one thing very clear. I am an independent artist and fully self-funded via the support I get through my fans and my Patreon. I wish I had the money people think I have because I wouldn’t waste my time asking anyone for anything. My greatest wish would be to help my sister myself but this is my contribution. Using my platform. Unfortunately, having a following does not equal revenue. I’ve offered my sister aid privately and still do however, it is not possible for me to continue supporting myself and supporting her. I also would NEVER be able to loan her the amount of money I’ve been able to raise through this GoFundMe. It simply wouldn’t be possible. Also, my sister DOES not have a following so why wouldn’t I use my platform to help my sister? That would make me incredibly selfish. This is also about telling her story and raising awareness about her illness and the injustice and flaws of our medical and justice system. Don’t assume you know the intimacies of anyone’s personal life or financial standings. And for someone suffering from a medical condition, it should be easier for you to have empathy for others suffering as well. And nobody is “begging” anyone. If you have the means, you can donate. If you don’t, then don’t. I know you’re probably not in a great place in your life because whatever life has thrown your way but that does not give you permission to be jealous and bitter toward others who also need help. I will help my sister however I can and nothing you or anyone else on the internet can do or say will ever stop that.
