Will you replace my struts? I ordered what I thought were you strongest ones. Mabe you sent me the wrong ones, since I installed them, they won't hold my hood up. I bought them for the car shows, but I have to use a broom stick to keep my hood up. Please help
I have a client with a 67 GTO I'm building. He's purchased the hood hinges a d is wanting to purchase some trunk hinges. Will these fit a gto or do yall offer a set for a 67 gto?
I just learned that most of these classic cars, the latch mechanism has "two" stage clicks. If only the first click is engaged and not the second, the door with feel sloppy and not locked in properly. Just readjust the striker out a bit until the second click engages and ensure your body lines (door to quarter panel look good.) 😎👍🏽
Note: these will not work with a Dart blocks, the blocks require a long water pump and there are no aftermarket off the shelf timing covers that can accommodate the .400 raised cam aftermarket block. You could probably make it work but it would require expensive modifications.
I was wondering the same thing. I have a 64 chevelle, and the oem trunk hindges work fine. Other than my engine, which has some after-market bling, I like to keep everything else stock.
One of my alan heads tore completely out when closing my hood. It crushed the bearing as well. Wondering if you guy's sell these separately or if you warranty your hinges?
Do you offer this setup with everything that will work with a gen 2 426 hemi and a 10-71 bds blower? If so what is the part number and is it in stock (if so, I will order today). I've tried calling 3 times and keep getting hung up by computer.
Back in high school in early 90s when I had my 1970 Camaro, I hated the color!!! Same color!!! called it dragon puke green!!! Now I am wondering why? Mine had the 406 SBC, TH400 and a 4.11 12 Bolt with traction bars! It also had the darker green interior! Nice car overall, but at the time I felt the color was not right! What was I thinking!!! Beautiful car by the way! Great work!
RTV does not belong on o-rings. And RTV will set up long before you get all this lined up and tightened. Use an anaerobic sealer that doesn't dry , like Volvo product.
