Hi how do I choose the best color to fill in my light areas? I really like your lessons, the artist that originally color matched me never showed me this technique and I love it. It has been a couple of years since I was color matched, and I am now 55 with changing skin.
@@dealukac9582 the great thing about this concept is the wide range you can use. Going to something more warm is best. Which contours or bronzers do you have?
Hi! I have the following colors in bronzers and contour: Aspen, Bella and Ash. I feel most alive with Bella. My highlight shades are candlelit, Athens and Sandy but I haven’t been using them. Foundations in general this year have been making me feel very textured which led me to your videos!
@@dealukac9582 I would use Bella. You feel more alive with it cause it is a red brown which brings warmth. After that drop in some flush with a cheek color. Do your eyes and brows and lips next. Then, at the end, look away at something else and back into the mirror. Most likely you will see very few distractions that need filtering
I would use the same color you use other places to add color to light areas, I think the most beneficial is something with red in it. Indigo, Bella bronzer, or even olive contour with Seint Beauty
Okay Althea, I’ve been watching you doing the tanner method for a while now, and I FINALLY have the confidence to try it!! I am ordering the tanner and pens now!! Let’s see how it’s goes hahah
I alternate between two about 3 times a week: Seint Masque and Cure Exfoliating Gel. I use Tretinoin at night. And very gently every other week, I use a tinkle razor to take care of the hair which will also exfoliate.
I understand. The more I try the pen and with different colors of tanner, the more I have learned that the color is very crucial. Also, getting into a routine of application. The nice thing about the whole concept is versatility of pen to brush. You will still get a beautiful finish. The pen does help deliver more precise dots of color.
I actually love it. I will have future tutorials on the details. I can get three days from mine, and longer with a little 5 min touch up at night if needed
I'm surprised that bronzers have blue in them! I've been using Bella to tone while I wait for some of my Demi colors. I have similar coloring to you so I'm thinking O5 will be in my next order.
I'm 58 but I never wore foundation. I have very sensitive skin and am allergic to so many things. I have developed rosacea so I do put on a little powder foundation, just at the red areas, if it is flaring up. When I was young I was into no makeup makeup. I covered spots with a tiny paint brush and concealer, put on the smallest amount of mascara, used a tiny amount of blush and used it as eye shadow as well. I have very light eyebrows, so I would fill them a tiny bit. Cherry chapstick LOL my makeup was done. I do a bit more now. my sparse light eyebrows are see through and almost bald, so I draw them on with a high end pencil because I found i was allergic to drugstore and I can get gray. I like eye shadow now, but I keep it very simple and light. I'm still pretty light on mascara, but you can see it now. I do wear lipstick because it brings color to my face. A little powder, some blush, a spray of redness reducing and moisturizing face mist. That's about it.
Nice! You are a minimalist as well. The chapstick reminds me how the Demi correctors work but with more pigment added but yet 80% translucent. The Demi method concept is right up your alley! Thanks for being here.
I need to get on seint with a new account so when do I delete my account to you? I know we went through this but it’s 6 months later so kinda forgot Althea. Please let me know. Thanks. Oh I was in RU-vid just searching and I didn’t know you had this. I always saw you in RU-vid Kids. Thanks for sharing 🐾💚🙀😽🐾🐾
@@AltheaGobble only kiddin it was a joke. I only see such small difference in all eye bag videos. If we're blessed with bags then we hve to see them as a regular of the mill bag or a Kelly 😂 but the bags are real and staying 😏
@@MM-mc2bfahh. Yes. Makeup trends claiming to make them disappear are not really possible. This technique just helps with the contrast of light to dark minimizing the overall shadows of the bag. The bag itself is there. Most times color can help balance things amplified by shadows.
You are such a lovely lady! I enjoyed this demo so very much. I’m 63 years old and have been looking for this kind of help. Thank you so much! I’ll get in touch
Thank you so much! I appreciate you stopping by! I have been using this method with these products for 3 years now. Best thing ever for mature skin. I’m here if you need me.
Currently not yet. But…. I do know we are going to be going global, not too far off in near future. You can try the adding depth with a contour. Let me know if you try that.
You are seriously a demi genius! It looks fantastic. I think I need to buy that tiny brush. I recently bought a bunch of Demi colours bc of your videos. It is so much fun to play with them. I think o5 might be my current new favourite. I never would have guessed it would work so well for me.
amzn.to/3tvxVs9 For the detailed artist brush altheagobble.com for the other items. Yes! So shocking how the O5 is the perfect amount of warmth for many skin tones. I appreciate you being here! Thank you for the encouragement ❤️
So happy I found your channel! You're like a demi master! I tried this undereye technique today and I like it so much better and I totally see what you're saying abt the light areas are making the dark stand out. Also I love all those fruit lunch colours. Especially cherry and tangerine and watermelon :). For Demi sculpt I only have NR and nv+1. But I'm gonna get ny , ng and no-1 to play around! Do you ever use nr-1?
@@AltheaGobble oh ok. I appreciate allll the amazing tips in this video and will play around with them. This makeup is such a learning curve. Just to be clear do you tend to use ny or ny-1? Like for undereye for example.
@@AS-qk5ii the Ny-1 would be if you a need little depth. Works great for areas of pink and do not need a whole lot of depth. NY would be dropping in depth and in areas of light. If you had a very red area of needed sculpt, you would use the Ny-1. If you had an area of light pink or very fair and want so added depth to balance what is around it, use NY. All the sculpts can be used in that manner.
@@AltheaGobble thank you! I found seint and Demi a year ago and it has been such a huge learning curve but I love it. Demi has Bern the hardest for me to understand but I'm, getting there. I'll play around with what you said and order some more colours too. Thanks for your help!
We can’t forget our ears especially if hair is up behind the white ears. I’m going to need help with this should we use NV+1 or NO, NY for under eyes… Thank You ❤️💙💚😻🐾🐾Julie
At least you are having fun when live and make us know we are all human and down to earth ❤that about you. Thanks for all these new ideas about the sculpts ❤️💚💙😻🐾🐾Julie
For reddish on my nose when I am using reading glasses for the reddish marks I have been using GY1 but I still can see some red their… what if I try NY or NV to put their would NY be better or just play with sculpts I have NB+1 for eye linings on lower lashes but for the the face since it’s a little grayish because I don’t really darkened it like I could but as for face what would be it be good for? Thank You. PS ❤️I’m glad you’re showing sculpts because you have awakened my brain now because I have no cheeks just lines and wrinkles especially my lower cheeks area or my lower jaw area . Althea sometimes I don’t like my 5X mirror because what I see I’m hoping it doesn’t show like I see so any advice please I’ll take it. Thanks again Julie
I see the differences on your lower of your on cheeks. I think it’s great. Yes we need to play with our Demi sculpts. Can’t be afraid to work with Demi it looks good. ❤️❤️❤️❤️💚💙😻🐾
