Cherie mitchelle is a worship leader, singer, songwriter and preacher of the gospel. A passion for worship was sown into her heart when she sang her first debut song Maa Paviyam Ennayum along with her father Ps. Alwin Thomas in 2007 at the age of 7. Later on she has sung many songs including vanathu poochi (butterfly), co wrote the album True Friend in which she featured two original songs “true friend” and “um thara”. From then she has continued to lead worship in church, along with her father and in many concerts and meetings and featured in a number of collaborations with many different artists.
She has a burning heart for prophetic worship and an unquenchable desire to spread the gospel of Jesus. She has a niche for creativity and through her social media and her RU-vid channels - cherie mitchelle and cherie mitchelle music she creates new content every week that inspire many young people for the glory of God!

Just wanted to share my Testimony : (Please read it to the end my dear Brothers as Sisters in Christ, you will be surely blessed) I lost my Father at the tender age of 11, I felt so lonely without him, whenever I saw other children with their fathers I would feel I have lost a great portion for my life it was not at all easy for a girl without her daddy. I just remember days when I would cry in school, also when I had to go on cycle alone to school everyday, I saw other children that their father would come to drop and pick them up from school, I felt so bad also my family's condition was bad by, I felt very difficult that I isolated myself from everyone, my grades went down, my family was broken. I didn't even know if can have a future I was soo broken, Isis sin as enemy said that's a way for relief but that was a Lie But then comes in my life a day when Jesus reveled himself to me as "My Father". Whenever I would feel alone and left out I knew Jesus was holding my hand always saying "I AM WITH YOU" As a Bible Verse says, I will not leave you as orphans. Amen! He did that in my life without fail. Now also I have to travel to college No one drops me but I know everyone else's Father leave them at the gate but my Father Jesus travels with me to college, comes inside with me, is with me in the classroom, helps me to study. You may wonder but How? I say "By Faith!" I know He is not physically present but that's were The Holy Spirit helps you to see through the inner eyes. 'GOD IS SPIRIT' (written in Bible) ,then you would ask me Now do you not at all feel bad about your Father's loss? My answer is that even if my Father is seeing me he would say 'Great My Daughter you did the right thing by giving my place to Jesus Christ' because Bible says GOD LOVED US WITH ETERNAL LOVE. Now Jesus is my Father!!! That is why I say Christianity is not a religion, It's a relationship with the Living God,no matter from which background or religion you are "EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED" If you have lost anyone who was so close to you just give that place to Jesus Christ He will take care of the rest...
