Let’s roll and make every skate session unforgettable!
It is really nice to ride outside crowded streets. I sometimes wonder off the path trough the forest, but I have to 100% rely on pavement not being a wet, sandy hole.
@flyboy96 you will get a better idea of what to expect when we pump out all the footage we recorded. I recorded the complete sessions for the whole weekend with an exception to Saturday nights skate. We took that session off to relax. We had a few people who skate with us that felt the same way. For the most part as long as you can handle surface changes, and stopping you should be fine for most of these. We have one coming up in Boston in August if you want to try that one.
Really good footage from the event. I didn't even notice the train running below us where you recorded that part.... I even put my stick out over the fence there too and didn't notice when I was editing the footage even. I also like the view during the fall... it gave it a good effect.
@@Daniel.Sk8er It looks really good as it is. I always feel the same way about my videos too. Always feel like I need to cut more out or put other stuff in. It's just you 2nd guessing yourself. The length was perfect and the footage was great.
@@Daniel.Sk8er The video was excellent, my friend! I have a 360 cam, too, and know how much time and thought it takes, and I really appreciate you putting it together for us (I was the tall guy in one of the blue event shirts, with a long ponytail).
Thank you! And also thanks for having us, we all had fun, even on Sunday while it was raining, please share this video with anyone you know from the group. I still have more to edit from all three days 😂
@mikecynic5167 oh yeah of course it’s expensive, made out of premium quality, totally worth it to me. This is me coming from an FR1 setup with Endless Arc Frame and Endless 80, but I do see what you mean. I’ve always wanted a full wizard setup ever since I started skating in September 2022
"smoothest" in the title isn't accurate, the skating looks okay, but picking up a foot for a spin is not wizardy with wizard skates. I'm only referring to the title, not the skating.
I tread cautiously with no intention to offend and love that your Inline Skating in 2024 🫶 I just cant get my head around these Wizard frames, or the point of them. Everything i see being done on them is entirely possible downsizing to a 231mm 4x76 frame on an eu42 boot. Those huge frames look so awkward like your going to unintentionally kick your own legs at any point or trip yourself up. The only obvious benefit is that turns ans spins would be easier because you'd have enormous room for error and not need to care too much about upper body position by short frame comparison. On the upside it seems to have generated another positive surge in all things Inline Skating which is no bad thing... 🙏
All good, I hear you. I used an Endless 80 frame with 4x84 wheels before trying the Endless Arc frames, and now I’m using the Advanced 100/76 frame. I’ve been able to perform these moves on all of them. Some skaters still prefer a 4-wheel setup for wizard skating and do just fine. It’s really a matter of personal preference. The site explains the logic behind this frame design. I used to think it looked weird too, even called them “banana frames”!
Small cracks on the trail? No big deal-I just roll over them smoothly. But when I see a bump with some elevation, it’s my perfect opportunity for a jump trick, adding some flair to my ride. It makes the trail so much more exciting! When I encounter rough and bumpy pavement, I bend my knees to keep my balance and maintain a stable center of gravity. It helps me handle the uneven surface with ease and keeps the ride smooth. Every obstacle becomes a chance for a new adventure! 😎
It feels amazing to me, allows me to do toe and heel presses quite easily with the added support, to be honest you don’t really need to strap it down fully either, also depends on your lacing style too
@@9jhlikesmusic9 I ordered the base high but somehow in the box was the regular base versions, but I didn't care, they are just fine. I don't think you'll regret the base over the base high, just get the base high versions next year.
The setup feels amazing, especially the advanced frame. This is me coming from the FR1’s with the Endless Arc frame, I've also tried my friend’s setups like the Them909 boots with PR76 and Seba CJ2 Prime with NR90. The toe box on my new boots is narrow but fits perfectly for my narrow feet. The two straps and 45 degree ratchet strap make toe and heel presses easier, and the wizard liner provides extra support with its stiffer tongue and upper side walls.
