love my steam deck! cannot wait to see what valve does with the next steam deck! hope they take inspiration from the PS portal i find the handles much more natural and comfortable whilst playing
@mason8219ma I've not help a ps portal but glad to hear it's comfortable! Very important for long sessions i don't like hand cramp lol yes will be interesting to see im glad they're going to wait to make the next oninim very curious what they will change/add
@weeklystruggle4205 thank you for your concern don't worry I just live in a smaller house this room is used by two of us I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😊
I love my Steam Deck so much. :) I am always glad to hear other people enjoy theirs too. My first reaction when I got mine 2022 was sheer awe. I hadn't realized PC got this good! Holding something this compact and portable and playing through all of The Witcher 3 was an amazing experience. I remember putting the Steam Deck into the hands of friends to show how stable the FPS were and how good the game looked. And since then it got so much better. The Deck had some bad growing pains on the software side in the beginning (game compatiblity, features not working as intended, etc.). The OS was new and needed bug fixing, but with the constant support from Valve it got really good over time. Great video! :)
@DeathJerrie another thing I've loved since getting it is the company themselves seem really good not only with fixing consoles but with how the company itself is run with allowing mods makes for a really nice experience. And yes the way games run so smoothly it makes it my first console to pick up it feels aps and bounds above my switch. Thank you for watching 😊
I don't need Steam Deck, I don't need Steam Deck... I'm a gamer for 2 months and mainly because of Hogwarts Legacy. But still I'm really tempted to buy it... 😅
@@lunawolfcrossing You know... I've been thinking about that for 2 weeks already. But I don't even know if I will play more games anyway. So even buying a second-hand Steam Deck seams like not a wise decision now. I should probably wait and try more games and decide then.
@sylwuskak7065 if you're unsure then definitely wait definitely give some other games a go look for demos too how I broaden my genres as long as you're having fun that's what matters its super easy to get caught up in buying what's new
I love the steam deck. I remember playing for hours on the switch but my hands cramping up because of how big my hands are. I have not had the same issue with the steam deck. I bring the steam deck with me any time I travel. The fact that it doubles as a portable pc and I can sync my saves between my desktop and steam deck makes it just that much better than the switch.
I'm lucky I never got cramp with my switch but I definitely find buttons easier on steamdeck and yep definitely agree couldn't lug my pc around this is much lighter 😆
Just got a steam deck and finally playing Stardew with mods. So many videos keep skipping steps or rush through things and your video helped so much and made it so easy! I just wanted to show my appreciation since there's no other comments! Thanks so much!
cotl mentioned !! Loved this game, had to change the difficulty to the easiest because it was way too hard for me, but it's so fun. Has for cozy games I like, I'd say Fields of Mistria is definitely up there and once the entire game is out, I think it will be hard to top. I'd also add Omori, seems like it would fit in this video in my opinion haha. Love your sweater!
I also love Stardew Valley! It’s one of my favorite games. Another cozy game I like is Spiritfarer. It does have some spooky elements, especially as you figure out what the game is about. Highly reccommend! It’s like animal crossing if your islanders were fully fleshed out characters with backstories and if it included platforming. The art style is amazing in that game!
This video is absolutely viable and has reason to exist. I don't understand why people on here gatekeep either one of these consoles. Not everybody is that deep down the rabbithole. Some people just wanna get their first ever console. Thanks for the video despite I am not the target audience I absolutely see the viability of it.
I truly wish you the best on your health journey. I know from experience it's not easy. Please take all the time you need and don't force yourself we'll be here waiting for you. Fitness and mental health are very important and I'm glad to hear you are working on yourself. Stay strong Luna and keep going!
I’ve never used both of them, but something that the Steam Deck made me notice is that both analog sticks are not in the same vertical position of the buttons and the d-pad, what makes me think that you won’t suffer with accidentally touching them.
I’m currently struggling between the Switch and the Steam Deck, and your video kind of helped me considering the Deck even more. Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts on both devices. Cheers! 😊
I'm glad people are still talking about it what with there being more handheld releases it's amazing but definitely not the cheapest option there's a lot to think about so I hope the videos help you with your decision ☺️
Do what's best for you! And maybe you can work on your gaming backlog on the channel? I certainly don't need to see the new stuff, I mysefl can't afford it most of the time too.
@desanta5413 not gym vlogs but I have thought about sharing what I do workout and food wise sort of explain the equipment I use etc would totally be up for filming some if there's interest
Focusing on your health is never a bad thing! Down to once a week is a pretty healthy schedule anyways when you have other irl things to worry about. An idea that might be fun is to take a game you already own and are passionate about/are knowledgeable on and do a playthrough of that. I think those types of LPs are just as good as blind lps because you can gush about how much you love the game and talk about all the trivia things regarding it like lore or development tidbits.
@erickmejia1643 got me teared up reading this thank you I definitely have thought of uploading some playthroughs of older games I just worry they won't get seen by followers it's probably my tagging but would definitely be down for trying
I can tell you I used to have an animal crossing 3ds I now regret getting rid of as they're so expensive now definitely learned my lesson. Thank you so much! The wii u is awesome I don't know why more people don't love it
I have a switch and a steam deck and a ROG ally. I mostly play the ROG ally for power and more games. The steam deck for battery life and the switch I never touch it.
Hi, Thanks for an excellent and honest review. I've just got mine, and im very impressed. Agree it's slighly heavier perhaps than it should be but that's my only complaint. Like your steamdeck skin, although perhaps too feminine for this Yorshireman. 😂 I put a case on mine from Jsaux. I think i hear a bit of a West Country accent, but I'm sure you will correct me if im wrong. Keep up the excellent work.
@WulfbyYT I'm from the southeast England. I definitely find the weight more comfortable now than when I got it so I'm sure will happen fir you becomes normal after a while. Haha while I love the black of the console it's nice to have a unique skin. I hope you're enjoying your deck and thank you so much for watching!
@mercyb.2546 I just opened the game after installing haven't had any issues have you tried reinstalling or is there a steamdeck update might help? Let me know
@@lunawolfcrossing I restarted my steam deck and reinstalled the fields of mistria that seemed to fix it.But if I leave the game for long periods of time I have to restart in order for the controls to work again.Im new to the steam deck and have had the same problem with other games.I'm not sure it it's me or If something is wrong with my steam deck.🥲😒
@mercyb.2546 silly question but are all updates up to date? Just mine will shut itself down if I don't do them myself I have heard a few people can't get the game to run but it's worth reaching out to steam if it's multiple games have you changed any of your deck settings?
@gabykorkowski it's from Playvital they have them on amazon it's cherry blossom petal and my track pad covers are also from them shimmering waves textured track pad covers thank you so much ☺️
@lunawolfcrossing not played that Pokémon game myself. It looked ok when were playing it but, I agree if that's the game it would get manotinous like you said.
@Richard-Green it's completely different to any other pokemon game I've played it's definitely cute but yes I wouldn't rush to play more well at least I gave it a go
