While the information is limited, Mtdna haplogroup B4 & its subclades exist on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. For frame of reference, Haplogroup A2 is found in Kamchatka and among Native Americans, Haplogroup B4 is found on both sides as well, there's a specific B4 subclade that's only been identified in the Indigenous Ivatan of the Philippines, the Native North American Chickasaw, and Han Chinese people from the Guangdong region, as well as in the human remains of the Tianyuan Cave. This doesn't specifically mean point A came from point B. It just means that there's a specific 40,000 year old B4 subclade that's only yet been identified in living Han Chinese in Guangdong, living Native Filipino Ivatan, & living Native American Chickasaw. I'm Chickasaw. Blew my mind.
