Now in my 50's living in NE Alabama and with the assistance of professionals in the Rabbit industry for selection of my herd; I'm enjoying my Adult hobby with pedigree Holland Lop's. At Mountain Brook Farm my best friend Jon and partner of many years has a small blueberry orchard, hot house, hoop house, fruit and vegetable garden nursery. Yup, I was able to justify my rabbitry for the cold source nitrogen rich manure they produce of which you can plant immediately in without composting it. I hope you enjoy :) www.mountainbrookfarm.org

Hello! I love your videos, set up and your bunnies I know you really take care of them and enjoy them! I am starting my rabbitry in Gadsden Alabama I currently am breeding Flemish Giants, Harlequins, and Mini Lops. Keep up the good work!
xx_Ps4ladd_xx Yes some do breed the same line together and some do prefer to use that practice especially with rabbits of the same litter. Generally they have an objective to achieve when that is done. You would then want an outcross with the bunnies from that litter. Well that’s what I would do. Always keep your colors pure.
New insight. Rabbits in the wild breed close relatives as it’s family units that remain in the same territory. Breeding close relatives is quite common naturally for rabbits.
