I like that you address proportion and proper balance. I also like that you look at someone’s inherent coloring and contrast-very important. The only outfit I disagreed with was the denim jacket. I think it did not look as dated as you described. IMO!
Giedre, I had to share this story with you. As you know, I've changed the "way" I wear clothes based on your videos. Well, each day I sit in a favorite tea shop and see the same people everyday. Even though we simply say hello and goodbye, I noticed some women looking at my outfits (up and down) recently. The best thing has started happening!! I am starting to see them COPY my outfits - just like I copy yours! It is amazing to me how your influence effects others without them even knowing about you. All are such lovely improvements, however I do like black trousers with white blouse, as my preferred style aesthetic leans more to that of a classic look. My favorite was the green dress swap 😍 it is gorgeous and the color works so well for your beautiful model!
Very interesting video. All "after" outfits were really a great fix. I just didn't like the one with the sky blue pant and the dred dress. It lookef like a batj giwn.
With the shorter length pants I think the longer line blazer looks fantastic. Also the overall colour scheme of the second outfit does not chop her body in half and everything flows. I think the tan belt and shoes look fantastic. I had not really thought about this as being a really nice and different option. ❤
I finally did all this Giedre. Thank you for these tips which I enjoyed watching a while ago but was too busy to implement. Over the weekend I went through the closet and weeded out pieces that were too small, looked worn out, or which never really suited me. I made myself a mini summer capsule wardrobe with what was left. I bought one summer blazer in a nice bright blue colour and a pair of dressy pants in light beige. Everything else was already there to make nice outfits both formal and more casual for 36 days. I pulled jewelry and scarves I’ve ignored for ages to go with capsule. Thank you so much again.
I agree with most of your suggestions, but I don't like the light blue pants with the white blouse. I'd like to see how some of these outfits could be improved by using the same clothing and styling them differently.
