Met these guys in Bangalore, India in 1996, and they were so down-to-earth and friendly. I was introduced to their music by my then girlfriend. And i always thought they were too soft and 'ballady' for my liking (i used to play guitar too, and was into Heavy Metal and Progressive Rock) but when i attended their concert and watched Mikkel Lentz' melodic solos and the band's highly professional and tight stage-act, i must admit i was blown away. I loved their clean sound and simple heartfelt lyrics, everything. They reminded me of REO Speedwagon, and were even better than them, melodically speaking. And Jascha's key transpositions on so many songs are so masterful. Mikkel Lentz is one of the most underrated guitarists from that era.

You "sure" huh? Do you know the difference between singing voices and talking voices? Many singers have different types of vocal range. Mariah Carey has a deep voice when talking, but her singing voice is high pitched. Michel'le has a baby sounding speaking voice, but a strong deep singing voice. I have had the privilege of meeting both these legends and their talking voices are way different than singing voices. And you are infact wrong on your assumption. Her voice is infact lighter than Billy's. "How do I know, and what makes me so sure?". I've also met both Ruth and Billy and got the pics to prove it.
