I am a Christina fan. But let’s admit a lot of these scenarios are set up to feature her voice and she was chosen to duet because of her bold sound balancing a more tender or storytelling artist. It’s stylistic differences and you can love both artists equally and enjoy them equally. That is when it is a really successful mix.
Beyonce has vocal power and what's really unique, she maintains this while doing energetic dance routines. A lot of the truly great singers just sing--they don't dance and sing at the same time. You never see e.g. Whitney, or Mariah dancing while singing. Beyonce is quite unique in that she can sing great while dancing. She can do both at the same time.
