You are correct in trying the credit card method and sliding that between the clear tab/metal tab and the head rail. If they have been up for a long time, they can get very stiff and hard to get out but they should eventually release and slide forward.
The middle support bracket has a little hook on the front end of the bracket that slides into a channel on the front side of the head rail. If you tilt the blind head rail up, the bracket will usually pop out of the channel.
If you visit www.hunterdouglas.com and look for the dealer locator tool in the right side on the page, you can type in your zip code and find an HD dealer in your area.
I am manufacturing this product in Turkey, but I do it manually. I want to switch to the motorized system. No supply. Would you have a chance to supply from there and send it to me? If so, would you do a price study? Thank you
Hello, pricing varies depending on various factors. If you are in the St. Louis, MO area we would love to put together a complimentary estimate. If you are outside the STL area but like the Hunter Douglas products, feel free to visit www.Hunterdouglas.com to find a dealer in your area for an estimate.
@@Twoblindguys Thank you for the reply. If you could give me a ballpark figure I’d appreciate it. I need a shade measuring 150”X100”. Fully motorized and outside mount.
The one thing I'm not sure if they advertise but that could help out a ton for managing temperature. Any south facing windows you can completely black out during the day to keep the heat out of the house. If you live in a colder place you can black out a lot of windows at night to add one extra layer of insulation to keep the heat in. The people that are building passive houses would be all for a system like this.
have you guys had issues pairing the remote after changing batteries? mine died, I changed the batteries, tested it but found it wasn't paired, held the stop button to get into pair mode but all it does it flash a couple buttons but doesn't go into pair mode. I tried to reset the remote as well, no difference.
Typically replacing the batteries won’t wipe the remote of it’s memory but there is the chance that something happened and that the remote is no longer paired with the shades. There are a few videos on how to program the remote to the shades so they are paired together.
Good job showing this system-I was involved in a TV commercial for this product for HD and we had to do some extra modifications to the lite-lock channels to get it ultra perfect for the film crew.in the field that should be expected also.no window is 100% and spending a little time adding some gasket material will help.--again,nice job with this presentation.
You may have the style with a slit in the center back of the remote. It would be centered on the back and same thing to get it off - flat head or quarter. It only takes a slight turn to get it off so try that and tap it against a hard surface to see if it pops out.
Nope. HD advertises complete blackout such as in the ad of the 1948 THE GLASS house. Just got 2 installed this week for about $850 each (blind, powerview, remote, hub for alexa) and have a halo around the sides and bottom from indirect sunlight in the morning. The bottom of mine has no gasket on it. Right now I hate these as I was needing complete blackout. My house was just built in 2018. No window is perfect but I think if they can black out a 1948 The Glass House, they can black out my 2 little windows.
We would recommend contacting the dealer that installed the shades for you as it sounds like there may be some installation issues. If you are not having any luck there, you can reach out to the Hunter Douglas customer support line at 1 (800) 789-0331 as well. We also state in our video, around 3:10 minutes, that there can be a little bit of light that peeks through the shades in certain applications.
I am manufacturing this curtain in Turkey, but I want to make it in a motorized system. Can you recommend a company that will supply me with motors? Thank you.
