This channel is for Hvac techs with air conditioners Freon leaks. I've been in this business for 35 + years. I would have bought at least 50 set/kits myself if they were available at the time.
Good way to fix it, but the most important things here are not talked about: where do you get the r-ring and steel rings? Without the parts everything talked here is nothing.
Al, ask a question, when I finish repair the king valve leaking by replacing a harden o-ring, but not put back snap ring for the easier future repair, you think it is fine ?
Not going to argue about any part. What I WILL say is that I had a leaking liquid line service valve and I used his 410...and it worked...... No more leak! Can't beat the fix for the price.
Team, you pay with paypal. Log on Paypal, send payment to al@seal410.com $12:50 3/4 or 7/8 inch Dome style service values? Unit type? Size? Add your product description in comment section. 803-491-4565 txt or call email. Al prefers to talk to you over the phone then order correct part. Photo of values with measurements would help.
This seems like a good idea but really, on those domed valves you can cut the dome off - just above the cap threads then back the slug out and change the ring.
True. You could also cut out the bad valve and braze in a new one. But either way means you'd first need to recover the charge, make the repair, pressure test, evacuate, and recharge. The point here is avoiding all of that.
did any one get these kits? any luck with these? i cannot find a single reference anywhere or cannot find where these kits available for purchase!!! not even ebay....why people make videos on such things which are not available
Go to: www.seal410.com This guy went through all the trouble and cost obtaining patent protection for his idea but for some reason it's like pulling teeth trying to find a place where you can buy a kit.
No BS. I've had some medical problems. (cured now) and computer problems. We're producing repair kits now- but still building a web site. It's been a long road, please call when you get a chance. 803 491 4565
SEAL 410 Sorry bout the late reply. My grandson got my computer going. Repair kits are available now. Just call me any time (EST) 803 491 4565Thanks Al
I have put in a new O ring and a washer before putting back in the snap ring. It did not stop the leak. The pressure is too great on the high side. This is why he did not sell his kits. No short cuts just replace the valve is the way to go.
hey Al great video where can I get some of those inserts and Orings, I m assuming we don't have to pump down or recovery all the freon your kind response please
Sorry bout the late reply. My grandson got my computer going. I'm not a good computer fixer. The kits are avabale now. We still have a ways to go in packaging and advertising You can call anytime (EST) 803 491 4565
