bro i too go once a year to windsor but i fish the detroit river starting from around ceasar hotel and going north along the river and always try to catch white perch or white bass with same rig you have but always have hard time catching them, is there a good month for them? i am guessing april and may? during the run perhaps but i know they can be fished july and august as well i think, excellent tasting fish specially white bass
Many people are coming yearly this site and take home for there limits, this fish change the colour once they upstream, yes they are edible , I bring home coho only not chinook
The steelhead population has declined drastically over the last 30 years on that river, reason why limit of 2 has been implemented off of Georgian bay tribs decades ago, just saying...no law was broken in this case, good fishing going forward
