So if you are in the US, Amazon USA doesn't seem sell the O2 sensor spacers but they are plentiful on Canadian Amazon...as a Canadian I don't know if they aren't allowed to sell them in the US or what, its very suspicious 🧐That should prove right there that this works too well 😂So Canadian Amazon links for them are in the description and hopefully they will ship to wherever you are at!
People Love this car! I Know I do! Don't know why they stopped building it so fast... Wish they would bring it back with 4 sized engines from: D16Z6 130 hp B16A 170 hp GSR 188 hp B18C 222 hp
Despite its a different model then the first and second generation crx:) what I have owned also:) I just love the del sol:)) it’s a rare car and it’s fun to drive :) off course it’s not a real sports car but still it’s more fun then people think. I had one for 12 years unfortunately did sell it , but I did get another one for those rare sunny days here and for meetings to enjoy it. It’s a 97 d16y8 with now 120700km on it
Just wanted to say that I love your videos! My grandma had the original MDX, and I remember being blown away by the second gen when I was about 5 haha. Love the Canadian talk too, as an Albertan. Acura's always been on my radar, but I'm driving a 2010 Corolla XRS right now (considering importing an SC430 after I'm done Uni). Subscribed!
Ain't gotta drain the coolant?? Well sure you can spill it all out of the lower rad hose instead...but if your rad has a drain plug you may as well it takes like 2 seconds and it avoids a mess for most ppl watching who are doing it in their driveway and not a shop.
In Mexico I owned a 98 Civic ex-r coupe which was functionally identical to the Canadian Si I believe. D16Y8 Auto with ABS and drums in the back. Power windows and power mirrors, I don't believe the mirrors were heated either. 5 disc CD changer in the trunk. I loved that car. 30k miles on it and red. The most compliant car I've ever driven. Did what you asked, didn't get in the way or complain. Oh and a sunroof!
An entire video about the Prelude and you completely missed the Prelude most infamous/controversial feature the pervert seat lol. How the hell did you miss that one
@@AcuraAdvice we are RHD in here thanks to British ruled, Many people import jdm cars to here, And the hkdm cars has no orange reflector And none of the trucks are american big nose, all cab over. Trucks are almost all standard trans,
I got an SiR ...2000 here in Ontario where muscle cars mostly dominate...for sale on FB marketplace...needs body work but still hauls ass...just bought a brand new Si...great car but not nearly as fun

Here is the video of the 99 SC400 - right b4 i bought it : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xANdNElY1YU.htmlsi=Cvkc5_zbMpKDBHqJ
Fiat Abarth, tach and speedo in the same circle. I own one, but I'm sure that has been seen on others. I also owned that 1986 Celica GT-S which did the blistering 0-60 in 8.6 seconds.
I’ve currently swapped an Acura el front end on my ej8 coupe and I can’t lie I couldn’t believe how uncommon this is at least here in the Midwest, could be wrong tho.
You stress the use of titanium (coated) bits, is that because you might break bits in this process and you want to use cheap ones? Cobalt bits are better for this purpose. But are more expensive.
I've just found that titanium bits are the cheapest ones that work everytime for me. I was mainly trying to get the point across to use a metal bit that is a harder material than the material of the screw.
In europe we had different badges. Eg3 d13b2 was dx (minus the i for injection cause carbs), eg4 d15b2 was dxi or lsi (latter with power windows), eg5 d16z6 vtec 125hp was the esi, eg6 b16a2 160hp was the vti. Then there were 2 sedan's, eg8 d15b2 90hp dxi and lsi (powerwindows) and eg9 b16a2 160hp vti. In the US there were eh, ej, and eg chassis codes within the eg family if i'm recalling correctly, but in europe only ej (coupe made in US) and eg (hatch sedan both from Japan). And they tried to make a replacement for the CRX, the CRX Del Sol. They had chassis codes eg1 and eg2 and the latter one had the vti badges and b16a2 inside. Eg1 had esi badges and d16z6 with 125hp. There were ones with electric targa roof and were badged vti-e (esi-e also?). And there probably is more info to make it more confusing 😂
Yes thats the way its pronounced up here, I didnt know it was different from the American pronounciation until I posted this and started getting a ton of comments about it lol
Owned a 2000 Si (Canadian model) I was just looking for a cheap car at the time. I was disappointed when I later started looking into upgrading and found thst I could basically throw a turbo at the D series motor or too bad for me. My 91 Si hatch was way better. And I really lived my 8th gen 06 Si coupe.
6th Gen Civic Coupe (Canada) had another trim level too - "SE" - one would think it was Special Edition, but it was low tier, roll down windows - I had one lol
Had a 93 Coupe in black with a tan interior. Loved that thing, and I still think the design holds up well. Was really disappointed with Acura from '96 on.
I own 2 sc400 cd009 swapped with a spitronic ecu and harness and a sc400 2jzgtevvti swapped from an aristo with a zf transmission supra diff ls400 big brake kit on both my manual swapped sc400 is my daily drive it 30 miles to work everyday
The 87 integra with the brown top was a good motor to find. With having a vacuum advance distributor was nice for swapping into an older civic like an 84 civic 4 door or something was possible. The black top was perfect for the 90 91 civic with the computer advance distributor.
