First time I built this, it was on a server, in creative mode. Second time I built this was in a solo game in survival, but I lost that map. Third time I built this was on another server (a small one with a few friends) in survival. Fourth time I built this was on Eyecraft MC's server, in survival. Now I've started a fifth time in a realm which I play together with my oldest son, in survival. I haven't finished putting just the lay out and already regret it... (not really, it's just that I'm a little crazy and I'm in love with this amazing design) It saves a lot that there's already a good tree farm, a high output cobblestone farm and a monstrous iron farm, I could build this thing from iron blocks now (neh, that's ugly). I do a few things different though: I leave the wooden balconies on the sides away. I don't build the pillars in the main hall. I make the side windows larger and use colored glass with lights behind them as windows and I build the main tower from regular bricks, using dark oak for the wooden details on it. A good way to light up the floor in the main hall is to dig 2 blocks deep holes and put a light block in it, topped with a closed trap door at the equal level to the floor. I use a mud generator and dry the mud with pointed dripstones then I bake the clay balls into bricks, still a lot of work though, but deffo worth it. And yes, everytime when I built this on a server, I put a sigh next to the entrance: Design by A1most Addicted Minecraft. I'm currently trying to build this on Xbox in creative mode. It's currently 1:22 am and I just got finished with the first tower, when he copied and pasted the second tower I was stunned. I was already tired, but I don't think I can finish another tower tonight re-watching that last part. Good night y'all, time to build tomorrow!! Definitely is a challenge in creative, I don't know how y'all are doing this in survival mode, THAT TAKES SOME SERIOUS SKILL!!
I know I'm super late to this video, but I love this channel. This is the third tutorial I've followed. I built the other, I think new castle, like three or four times lol.
The house itself, AMAZING. I love it... the interior though, I had to take some creative liberties because it didn't really match the aw-inspiring complexity of the outside. Great video though! Thanks for the walk-through :)
Doing this in Gregtech Survival had me really pulling my hairs.... but I did it. I know this is an old video but I concur with all the comments saying that this tutorial should have been a lot easier to follow
Your builds are awesome!! I have been following you a long time. You are by far the best builder, your tutorials are the easiest to follow for me. I have learned alot by watching you. I enjoy building along with you. I lost several builds in the last upgrade of my pc system. I know you have built many medieval structures, in which I have built most of them, however, is there anyway you can do a medieval inn, church, etc. tutorials. I have tried to follow your builds that were not tutorials and did not do so well. Keep up the good work!!
was there ever an interior video?! I'd love to see it even if it's not a tutorial but like showcasing what you came up with for the inside. I've got the exterior just about done, im pretty dang pleased with it, but need more of the little extra stuff for sure. this build was awesome, your apologies weren't necessary, you made an awesome build and I enjoyed seeing the whole process and joining you for the journey.
