@@nobull9541 a c+ is a b I just didn’t understand the concept from watching it so it’s a c+ in terms of the displayed content but as far as everything else an A for sure still a great balance had the message been clear and delivered then yes it deserve an A+ for sure it just needs to make sense to the viewer if everything else is great but the message is unclear and you missed the opportunity to deliver the message in the actual film it slow rolls everything else but I’m not hater I think they did a dope job with everything else sound, lighting, and shots super dope for sure everyone has room for improvement even the greats I’m still learning myself but that’s just my P.O. I hope this makes it clear of my original comment as it stands
I get it, amateur films... But you could see the camera operator at 0:38 and 0:50 along with two other people that are in the room, that aren't in the film. Keep it up, this is how we learn.
First of all I commend anyone for producing and uploading their ideas or concept for us so to see. Well done. I need to pull my socks up. I didn’t get this though. My immediate first thought was that it was a rebellious school pupil, teased by his peers, heading to the headmaster’s office but ending up in the office of the head of English. Someone mentioning divorce suggested he had reacted to his folks separating. In that context the words ‘I quit’ seemed a little strange. The text message then caused me confusion as the lad seemed too young to be personally involved with a divorce act. The Stranger Things type music had me thinking Eleven would pop out of the wall. I’m sitting here trying to understand.
Short story short, the protagonist just got a text from the wife of his boss, saying they are getting a divorce (presumably so that she and the protagonist can get together). So he decides to quit since this will likely make things awkward at work. The beauty is in the arrangement of the plot. Yes, I also initially thought this was a school pupil. But this is a low budget thing... just imagine they're all ten years older and this is an office!

That message the main character received at the end of the video (which is actually the start of the story) was from the employer’s wife, with whom the mc was having an affair. MC’s quitting to run away with the employer’s wife, who was already on the phone telling her husband (the employer) that she wanted a divorce - hence the employer saying “what do you mean divorce?” as the mc went in his office to say “I quit!”.
