Mostly uploading rare music that cannot be found on streaming sites or sometimes even RU-vid.
Generally uploads will not have any de-noising, compression, or any other processing that would otherwise affect audio quality. Most of the time it will just be what comes off the Vinyl, CD or other source. Occasionally I may use Izotope RX's De-click module to remove loud periodic clicks on a scarcely available album. De-clicking I find is the only tool that is non destructive when used sparingly. I personally don't believe removing vinyl crackle and distortion is possible without affecting the audio quality, and as such those will never be used. You could also argue that's a part of the charm.

Sunday Kind of Love....One my top five songs and never received is full recognition. Saw him live at the Boarding House in San Francisco in August of 1975, at the height of his popularity. Brilliant.
Been a fan of JW ever since I was a kid and saw and heard her perform on the Smothers Brothers show. I found this album back in the late 80s and lost it in hurricane Katrina. Glad to listen to it again...
Heard this track on release. It was showcased on a UK Radio show called Radio Hallam's Soul Sauce. The DJ was Richard Searling. Next day I was at the best Jazz Funk and Soul music supplier in Doncaster in UK and bought the Album. I literally picked it up again yesterday whilst dusting off my vinyl shelves in my Man Cave. Threw it on for a blast. I was 17 when I bought it. God has time flown.
I knew Don Eaton when I was a teen, he lived next door to my friends brother. Saw them several times, once opening for Jon Luc Ponty. Very hard to find any info and Don won't answer emails about it or even list it in his biography for some reason. He can play 2 saxes at the same time. This album was really well recorded and produced and people are blown away when I play this "old" album with no cracks and pops. Don now heads one of Philly's Premier Wedding Bands. This is one of my all time favorite albums. Thanks for posting it up.
I bought this album in a bargain bin a few years after it came out and listened to it over and over. As an artist I loved the cover as well. What a treat to find it again after all these years.

A purple captains edition econoline with full hi-fi and wire rims just pulled up and delivered a giant shipment of funkification into my mind. I am now completely activated and ready to fly back off into the sky.
Loved this album,and still do,amazing production from a incredible musician and producer who had so much input back in the day to the PHILLY sound and MFSB.
Thank you for putting this LP up. I was 5 on release and obviously i don't remember it as my parents didn't like jazz-funk and i have no siblings. It is a brilliant LP, the only dodgy track being 'Chemical Man' 😂😂😂he isn't painting himself in a good light there singing lyrics like that. I wonder what happened to Spaces following this album?

I saw Paz live at a pub venue (The Half Moon in Herne Hill I recall) around the time this album was released. I had a chat with keyboard player Geoff Castle in the gents. He seemed like a top bloke.
Kenneth Joseph Rankin (1940-2009) was an American singer and songwriter in the folk, pop & jazz singer-songwriter genres. Three of Rankin's albums entered the Billboard magazine Album Charts. He was a guitarist on the album 'Bringing It All Back Home' by Bob Dylan. He appeared on The Tonight Show more than 20 times. TV host Johnny Carson wrote the liner notes to Rankin's 1967 debut album, 'Mind Dusters', which included the single "Peaceful." His songs were favored & performed by jazz artists Peggy Lee, Mel Tormé and Carmen McRae. After recording the Beatles' song "Blackbird" for his album 'Silver Morning', he was asked by Paul McCartney to perform it when McCartney and John Lennon were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.Rankin befriended comedian George Carlin when both were signed to Little David Records. Starting in 1972 Rankin was often the opening act for Carlin's live performances. Although Rankin had overcome his drug habit, he returned to using cocaine while on tour with Carlin. Rankin and Carlin toured together intermittently for nearly 10 years. Rankin sang at Carlin's memorial service in June 2008. He was married to Yvonne Rodriguez-Calderone and is survived by son Chris Rankin, daughters Chanda Rankin and Jena Rankin-Ray and a granddaughter. Rankin died of lung cancer on June 7, 2009, three weeks after he was diagnosed with the illness.
