I love the blur animations of halo 2 anniversary, but it’s funny how much I prefer the cinematography and lighting of the original. Definitely a byproduct of the limited graphics, but the covenant just come across as more alien as well in the original. Still love and appreciate blurs contributions to halo. They understood the task and nailed it.
42 Classics AI: I am already dead. Quorra: ;_; Here are some NDS* good for coach journeys, no longer. Q woah. *LOD multplex standard racoonface. Xbox Studio cost hiring an entire puppet cast of Pilot and associated logistics, ie hotels food, car renting, pension pay - from Henson, £3 million. Q, sorta standard for 32bit gen 2, but at least they stared their budget in the face with big brute moves shrug. Cost of bringing back Ackbar actor and associated squashair synth machine, £50k car and advice on American parks to barbeque in without evil evil bears. Bit of an eccentric, an eccentric Q. Pilot and Ackbar on the same thing giving me instructions, no wonder we bothered to play. Retrieving the Windows icon for Sainsburies Homebase is my only concern (Kieth Lemon) Of course... Bomfunk: I your biggest fan! Ship: Heretic it lacks the requisite dreadlock amounts, down the fraud! Bomfunk: But I do swimming pool cannon balling, jump into ball "bombs away"? Arbiter: I am inspired beyond belief, it belongs in the great classic library of the 42. FORTY TWO FS. Bomfunk: I was based on that cannonball from an Orion movie that destroyed two pirate ships? Cuthroat Island.
Holy crud that things real, Lauper wind face. Q, its made out of Rez system like Kinnex version of Meincraft. Using atomic tractorbeams still?!!! CERN:(
8:49 always get me rolling every time like the elites are tryna be serious and pledge their oaths before battle yet these grunts are just fuckin with each other 🤣🤣
Deuteronomy 28:43-44 says: The foreigners living among you will become stronger and stronger while you become weaker and weaker, they will lend money to you but you will have nothing to lend to them. They will be the head and you will be the tail.. If you refuse to listen to the lord your god, and to obey the commands and decrees he has given you, all this curses will pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed. These horrors will serve as a sign and as a warning among you and your descendants forever.. White Christian Americans are the elites being replaced!! OPEN YOUR EYES!
Thanks man for uploading the video. This takes me back to the days when my cousin and brother and I would play Halo but I never understood the story. God bless you. I'm relating this game to the bible. It gives me divine faith. The Gospel of Saint Matthew 24:33 all these things. Amen. God bless you. 🙌
i miss the old old halo 2 cutscenes sometimes. . The anniversary cutscenes do so so many things right but messes up the rhythm for me. It always feels alittle off.
Yeah it's just... Not the same. Whenever I replay these games in MCC, I always use the original graphics. The cutscenes look great but they just... Feel different.
It’s crazy to think of how good these graphics were for the time. In 2004, when I was just a happy little 11 year-old kid, this was THE pinnacle of gaming and graphics
High charity blew my mind. Such a great idea for bungie to focus on developing the covenant lore and they did such a great job. I can’t imagine halo without the story developed in this game. The story in this halo is better than majority of modern movies
Halo 2 is my favorite for a lot of reasons but one of them is the story of The Arbiter. The Arbiter was written so well, his dialogue, how he became The Arbiter. I was more interested in the Elites in this game than Chief and humanity honestly.
I always liked this one better too. It's not the physical pain making him cry out, it's the mark of shame being pressed to his hard earned honor. The scream always struck me as a more emotional one.
7:58 I like how the remake looks but this scene, this precise moment is so important that it is a shame that is missing in the remake. The way that Thel gives a look to the graves of his predecessors is something that tells so much about him as a character, in the remake he sees the helmet on his hands for a moment, but is not the same.
I miss the old arbiter’s scream versus the one they used in anniversary. Kieth David delivered more emotion with that scream and it actually matched his voice unlike the other.
4:20 Listen to the pulsing music in the background. I need that piece of music!!! ITS my personal brute theme since it feels so intimidating and brutish
The most creepiest Arbiter cutscene is the gravemind there's a half a mutilated alien body there's just a head and one arm and there's three skulls melted into the grave Minds tentacle
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a subversive masterpiece in the same way mgs2 is, but it's basically had the same reaction. Initially, oh no wtf, i don't wanna play as this whoever this is! Then years later, bam, everyone loves it.
