Such a good idea of using the styling tools of the Dyson Airwrap as a refresher! I Your hair looks great IMO with the body and loose curls. I have this Dyson and ❤ her so much but haven’t tried the curling tools. I’m going to give it a try. Thanks for the video!😊
Texture releases were not actually developed for curly styles. It was developed for naturals who wanted to wear straight or silk press styles and not have it revert back too fast.
1:50 I think for some people who wear their hair permanently straight they don’t mind the damage to texture as long as the cuticle isn’t splitting or the cuticle damaged.
Chime already had a loose texture. It wasn’t tightly coiled or coarse to begin with. Texture releases aren’t meant for people to wear curly styles. They were developed for naturals to wear straight styles without the hair reverting back too fast.
Ha ha I’ve made the same mistake with the spices before. You live and learn! Try antihistamines if you ever feel like you are having a reaction to something. Apartment looks good 👍🏿
Always good to see you here! Nice job on the floral arrangement! 😢 Sorry about your eyes but glad you found out the cause And.. I absolutely love all your looks! Such a sophisticated fashionista ❤
IKEA is very conscious in their packaging 😂😂😂 They are the only ones, in my opinion, who actually believe in sustainability and do not fake it like most companies. I remember building my drawer from IKEA and it took me the entire day (though it wasn't long - just long). My legs were hurting for few days after that 😵💫
I got a texture release- worst decision ever. My hair has been shedding non stop and some breakage too. But seems like more shedding hair. I’ve tried moisture treatments and mild protein treatments. Using sulfate shampoo to rinse it out and aloe vera for scalp health to see if shedding stops soon.
Hey gurl, I just started watching your videos, I really enjoy them a lot and I like the sound of your voice. Sorry you went through a tough time, i'm praying for you. Keep making more videos <3<3 i've subscribed and looking forward to the next one.
"Texture realising" just call it what it is relaxer. All this different names for the same thing. I had to Google just to make sure you was talking about relaxer. Just say that re-lax-er 😂
You and I are in the same boat😢 I did a silk press while getting ready for a company party. Didn’t realize the heat the girl was using from the curling iron was too hot. She pressed the first part of my hair and I smelt it and I concluded in that moment ‘Welp the damage is done, big chop season again’.😢 it’s been two months I’ve tried everything and nothing is working so now I’m trying to muster up the courage to cut it again
hiii i have the steampod x barbie, is it normal that it makes a sound when i press it with my hair?? and that also i noticed some drops of water on the besides of the plaques?? i don’t know if its normal or if it’s broken or smth since i just bought it last week
Use bond building products and protective styles. Supposedly, washing the hair washes off the treatment. You need to frequently wash. Honestly, you're hair still looks good,in my opinion. ❤
I’m in full agreement with you! I’m almost 5 months in transition with 4c hair and I just decided today, I’m going back to the creamy crack this weekend! It takes me 5 hours on a wash day and I can’t find any edge control that will lay this stuff down. I’m over it! All the money I invested in natural products and edge control! Ugghh
Thanks for this! I bought the Supersonic and Airstrait, still in the boxes. The latter was definitely an impulse. My first foray into the Dyson world but feeling like for the cost I only need just one!! I think people are trying to make the Supersonic into a “one-and-done” when most of us always like to finish off with a flat iron for smooth results after blow drying. Then the Airwrap and Airstrait aren’t as powerful as the Supersonic but we want to use that as a hair dryer and styler. I think it’s the cost making us feel that way because before Dyson, we had one tool to blow dry and another to curl (or rollers) and another to flat iron. I think the same applies with the Dyson tools, you’ll probably need two to achieve the results you’re looking for 🤷🏾♀️
