On my channel you’ll see Fly fishing for Brook trout, Smallmouth, Largemouth and Bluegills, Squirrel hunting, Crow hunting, Deer hunting, Metal detecting, Skeet shooting and maybe a Grouse hunt now and then.

Try the sports complex. It's across the river and just upstream a bit. Most of the current up there concentrates to that side, which also concentrates the route of the fish👍
The majority of the decoys I use are the flambeau ones. I got mine on Amazon the 12 pack is pretty reasonably priced compared to buying one by one on eBay for $20
Nice video. You guys need to have better setups. Always keep the sun behind you or to the side. Use the shadows of the trees. Also, dont shoot when they aren't in range. You're just educating them by doing that
that's pretty damn cool, i'm excited for the summer to do this, but some advice i can give you is don't just show the fights, show the casts and the journey if you know what i mean
Did NY change their regulations? I thought most trout streams were closed from October to April. I know that’s the case here in Michigan, although there are some exceptions for waters that carry heavy salmon/steelhead runs and a handful of catch & release rivers, but all of those open waters are substantially bigger streams than the one you’re fishing here.
I beleave it changed in 2021. Oct 16 to March 31. A lot of the time it’s posted at parking areas. for the streams that are open it’s catch and release artificial lure or fly.
My Rifle shot high also. I finally got to be on 2" high at 50 yards. It now wears a Leupold 1.5x4x20 "pig plex." 5 tight holes at 100 yards with Remington 200 gr round nose and my 180 gr Speer handloads.
A lot of the videos I saw people are having the same problem of it shooting high. I ended up loosening the rear sight diamond to bring it down more. A scope on this rifle I definitely think is the way to go!
Beautiful country where you hunted... looks a lot like Oregon, I live in Lane county and we have a lot of area just like that.... we have several types of Squirrels around here, the big silver greys, some reds and I have seen a couple of black squirrels as well.
Checkout that wingspan though, massive! First time one flew across my property, I saw the shadow and thought it was a prop plane but there was no sound, couple days later it came back and I saw it was in fact my spirit bird! The Bayou is across the road from me, because their numbers have increased I see them daily coming to fish! Eyes upward....
We have watched 2 Bald Eagle nests this year. Both pair of adults successfully raised 2 eaglets each. They are so much fun to watch. I remember when I was a young kid, there were not too many Bald Eagles left. What a wonderful comeback they have made!
