❤❤❤❤ I've read the intro paper back book and then the hard copy it was past down to me as a gift from my big sister and I didn't understand back then in the 99 or 2000 years but I highlighted some things and this years 2023-2024 now understand
First, I LOVE your energy! Second, I'm really glad I watched your review of this incredible book. It's interesting how many times you mentioned the word "powerful". That word came to mind over and over as I was reading this story. I've never read Toni Morrison before - really? Can you believe it? I've obviously missed out on something special, but no more - I'm now a true fan and hope to read all her work eventually. Interestingly, when I saw her photo on the back of the book, my first thought was "What a beautiful woman!". The fact that this book is so often banned speaks to how powerful Toni Morrison's writing truly is!
I read this book a couple months ago in my sophmore year of high school. I gotta say it was an amazing book. It really gave me some perspective on my life. It taught me valuable life lessons that have helped me grow as a person. 😊
I think this a great book for those just getting into the nature of consciousness and spirituality. For me, it definitely seemed a bit repetitive. Which is funny because in the beginning of the book he mentions how some may feel that way when reading it lol
Just finished the book literally moments ago. Definitely like you said came to me at a time in my life when I needed this to make a change and to live and not exist. All the best with the channel.
Being beautiful can also be detrimental, it can take you down as men can see you just as a sex object, it's rough out there... I get all races coming for me,only Allah has helped me to retain self worth self love, l was born with great beauty...but is does have its down side.. Sorry

I enjoyed the book I thought it was well written. And u did a fantastic job doing a book review. This had love stuff in it, and I’m not into love books, but I thought this one was ok. Obviously One he meet at the secondary school is her main love, but who do u think is her best second love

Bought the book today and wanted to look at a book review before I started. I came across your video and you did a great job with it. Growing up on the west coast has made me blinded by a lot of the things that actually happened in the south, I say this because I now live in North Carolina. Being Mexican has made me struggle with racism but still nothing I can compare to the stories I have heard around here. I will probably come back to this video when I finish just to see how I can relate to others.
It’s a garbage book, the same people who like it are the same that follow those instagram pages filled with inspirational quotes. This book is another “live laugh love” example regurgitating the same uplifting/positive messages. The way characters speak are in just weird positive messages. Very little substance, unless you need to be reminded everyday that life is about the journey and not the destination. If you like short shallow positive messages, by all means get this book. But if you want a real plot, real substance, and less bible allegories look elsewhere.
I love this book so much. It's the only book I've re-read a dozen times. Great review! Also you have an interesting accent. I assume you're American but what kind of accent do you have?

Lol, it's not their love that brings them back together. Ifem ghosts Obinze for years and only gets back together with him for convenience. I've read it over 20 times and I always get so disappointed about the ending lol, I wish I could know how it all plays out with Obinze. FYI, I feel like I've lived the Obinze experience as a black queer woman from South Africa bit without the real estate money haha
I came across this book in 2020, and after I read it, I quit my job as a 20 year electrician, and started a Handyman business, and I haven't worked for anyone since, it gave me the motivation to go for it.
