Do you know if it is possible to extend the capabilities of the Copilot in MS Word or PowerPoint in a similar way? I am wondering why I only find tutorials that extend the Copilot in MS Teams as part of MS Office 365. However, until now, I have not found any tutorial or at least a demo for other applications like Word or PowerPoint. So, do you know if extensions for the Copilot of these applications are already possible?
nice video thanks, is it possible to save the env settings as a file like you did for the tenant? I copied it out but it's annoyingly combined the columns
I'm laughing and crying at the same time. I've been trying to get these to work for too long now. Thank you for the detailed explanation of how to enable the Copilot Studio extensions! The Create and Configure Copilot plugins have one flaw that I missed. They have an incorrect image of the app that you need to deploy from the admin center to get the Copilot Studio Plugins to work. After you provided detailed information, I finally got things working.
HI. Great Work!. I have one doubt about Environment Variable Secrets. have one custom connector i am passing Secret Value in Text is not working. Or only that azure key vault is possible to passing a client secret
Is there any difference in creating from the PPAC UI, meaning to create a new development environment and assign roles to the users? Thanks for sharing.
No there is no different with regards to the action itself, BUT... you can automate actions after this with the Power Platform CLI. An example is creating a dev env and importing solutions, creating groups etc etc. 😁 Does that make sense?
Thanks for sharing the approval solution using power automation. Do you have any video on Send an HTTP request action in the "when a new email arrived in a shared mailbox(v2) trigger. The solution I am looking for is to update the importance to High when an email arrived in my shared mailbox.
In the UI this boolean values have always been displayed as yes/no fields, so I think it's coming from there. I hope this is something that will be fixed in the future. 😊
Hi Daniel, when installing the Pipline app I get the following message "This app can't be installed because its packages aren't compatible with this environment." could it be a licensing issue?
I am getting an odd result when using the connector in a flow. When I Reassign the flow, I get an error that 'The API operation 'ReassignApproval' requires the property 'body' to be of type 'Array' but is of type 'Object'.
Hi Daniel, Any idea how can I grab the value from Plugin code? It seems custom action(RetrieveEnvironmentVariableSecretValue) provided by Microsoft is not working anymore
With the pac power-fx CLI commands you don't have to have an administrator permission in Azure. You do have to have access to the Dataverse environment though. You won't be able to add rows to a table where you don't have write access to. So in this case, it's only about the Dataverse security roles. Hope that makes sense.
@@DanielLaskewitz not sure it works, even though it is documented. When I type Set (counter, 1), I get Unexpected characters. The formula contains 'Error'...
You did not assign Sys Admin role to April using the CLI. She already had it. Does April (the user) need to be Sys Admin to be able to have a DEV Environment created for her via the CLI?
I didn't have to assign it, because she already had it because of the command. When you use --user with UPN it will assign sys admin role to the user you specify.
Finally this is possible with the PAC CLI, I've been waiting for this, since the "on behalf" option was released. Lucky me, I only had two wait around 2 or 3 weeks 🥳🥳 Great video, straight forward, gonna use this feature in my standard governance approach 💡💡
any idea what can we do with Lobe? it helps to identify images and that's great, but if i made a model to "see" if someone is using the mask in the hospital for example, should I be worried legal conception about getting images from people - for example i can have a smart TV displaying a message "PLEASE USE YOUR MASK" just at the from door of the hospital, so people is aware they have to use the image. i will not use random people photos to train the model, but i will check their faces in the real example...
The integration is nice, but what I can't find is how to restore a PowerApp from GIT. Let say it's delete or you need it on a other subscription/tetant.
This is an experimental version and will not make it to production. If you want to achieve something like this, I suggest using the Power Platform CLI with the solution commands instead: aka.ms/pac/solution
Hi Daniel, As a Power platform administrator I have configured Pipelines. What permissions are required for the end user (not system administrator) in Host, UAT & Prod environment to run the pipeline? We use CoE ALM Accelerator and everything is done via Service principal (App registrations). How does permissions work for logged in user?
Hi @kannank7313 - Check out the following article: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/alm/set-up-pipelines#share-pipelines-with-makers - This describes how to share pipelines with makers. There is currently no service principal support, but it is on its way. Check out the blog to learn more: powerapps.microsoft.com/en-gb/blog/pipelines-in-power-platform-is-generally-available-ga/
I am getting an odd result when using the connector in a flow. When I Reassign the flow, I get an error that 'The API operation 'ReassignApproval' requires the property 'body' to be of type 'Array' but is of type 'Object'. What is odd is that the approval gets reassigned, but the flow stops due to the error.
Thank you for this guide. I use environment variables in my solutions. I know the procedure to delete values before exporting to a production environment. At the time of import I have the wizard that asks to fill in the environment variables. However, when I use the pipeline, I have no way to fill in the variables. Do you have any clues? Thanks in advance
Hello I added an existing flow to a solution in Dev which triggers from a PA button I then added connect references to that solution and exported / imported the solution to my test Env I have all the connection references in the test env. Now users cannot run the flow in test it says run failed can’t connect to this service! Seems there are videos saying use solutions / connection refs but there’s issues
Hi, I have an app (previously created in default environment) connecting to azure sql prod DB (using PRD db connector). So, now I have moved that app inside a solution (in default env.) and used connection reference in the flows that is connected to PRD db connector (previously created). Now when I try to import the solution into DEV environment then shows error - "Import failed due to missing dependencies". Can you tell me how to resolve this.
Great video. I followed the instructions and I succeded to deploy a solution from Dev env to Test env. But when I want to deploy from Test env to Prod env it dosen't allow me and I get the error message: ''The request message was already sent. Cannot send the same request message multiple times.''.
Very well explained Daniel. Thank you so much. I already have one solution available in Production environment. I am always importing this solution as managed from Developer to production environment. Is it possible to create pipeline for same production environment with same solution inside ?
You can create a pipeline with one stage (dev to production) and you should be able to deploy the solution there (as long as the new solution has a higher version number).
The development, test and production environments should be marked as a managed environments. When an environment is marked as a managed environment, every user in that environment needs to have a premium license.
Daniel, just found this video, great and very helpful. Easy to setup following your instructions. I don't suppose there's any movement on the ability for this to be setup so that an admin can reassign another users approval?
