I don’t think it’s happening with this generation mainly because it would mean bumping Kobes 81 down the list and I could see a lot of these dudes getting to 80 and being satisfied and not wanting to knock down their idol.
The 100 point game will be a clown show. Serious basketball will go out the window because the game will be a back n forth between the guy trying to get 100 and the other team throwing the game to stop them
I worked on set with the TNT crew a few years back and was in the green room with the crew while the game was going on. This is BS lol. At least from what I saw. Chuck was for sure the only one actually interested in the game. Everyone else was just socializing. It was Barkley, JA Adande, Jason Tatum’s agent, and myself, who were the only people actually watching the game.
Im surprised, i didnt think any true basketball people could watch this bullchit! Professional basketball players are shooting from their waist like the ball os too heavy... I understand that the nba is a business and the points bring the fans...it worked, it's global and getting bigger! But dearly departed Mr. James Naismith (rip), "centered," the game around lay-ups & rebounds...!!!??? Bucks v Heat: Bucks make most 3's ever (29 [Bucks win 144-97]). Heat would have still won by 15 if they went perfect from the line; went even on rebounds, and scored on every offensive rebound...not as crey as making 29 3pointers. Idk what the Heat were doing that night (no hate [light brings shade])... (every 2nd mvp trophy should go to Shaq [retroactively&posthumously {since Jokic has 3!}])
You'll never be able to recreate this group once this is all done! They have a special bond! My wife don't even love basketball like that but loves to watch half time shows, gon fishin segments.. and friggn shaqtin a fool lol.. these guys are special!
