Can’t stand that annoying background music that gets played constantly during a game. Most times I don’t pay attention but for some reason it’s really getting on my nerves this time 😂😂😂
Ok next commercial break talking about covid, guess this was a re-broadcast. No wonder I found most of the commercials so annoying; they're 2021 commercials not 1998.
Anthony Mason got better and better as he got older. In New York he was just a big strong guy that played tough defense. He developed his inside game later in life. Solid player.
He absolutely made up for the arrogant asshole that was and is Bob Costas. Doug Collins was always amazing to listen to since a lot of coaches are terrible commentators and he was not.
83 -86, bulls lead then foul..1 freethrow plus tip in basket by the netS and yet the score is 85 -86 lead by the bulls?maybe some one can explain to me about the score?
🎵🎵Another one bites the dust 🎵🎵 Another one bites the dust 🎵🎵 Another one bites the dust 🎵🎵 Another one bites the dust 🎵🎵 These other teams in the 1998 NBA playoffs were sleeping on Chicago for reason this season - how in the hell you going sleep on a team that has just won 5 out of the last 7 championships 🤷🏾♂️ after Jordan dunked on Kendall Gill in overtime of game 1 (it was on, and the bulls were ready to roll) after the slow start in game 1
2:19:07 got to love the Bulls broadcasters. They’ve seen 5 titles in 7 seasons at this point and they still get fired up for a huge play by the great one like this
This is one of my favorite series from back then to watch, even though it was 3-0 sweep you could see the league starting to change right before the bulls and its super interesting to see how they dealt with a young team that was moving much faster, had alot of athleticism and alot of space and was basically precursor to how nba teams play today
the bulls almost lost all of those games. Till this day i dont know how the bulls won in 98. They just seemed old and had to work so hard that entire playoffs.
I think the Dwight Howard/Stan Van Gundy Magic was the “pre,” to how they play today. If they could have done a little better on roster construction, they could have won a few championships. Because Dwight was dominant on defense and solid enough on offense that you can play the 4-1 spread, him low post and 4 3-point shooters in the open spots. Even with limited post moves, Dwight was such a specimen that there wasn’t to many centers in the league that could hold him 1 on 1 in the paint. Turkolug and Pietrus were not consistent enough 3 shooters for the defense they played. Especially Hedu. Other guys that maybe could hit more but were even more of defensive liabilities than the two I just mentioned.
Dang, well I just looked, my favorite 6’10” spread the court player Rashard Lewis 39% Hedu and Pietrus both 38% for 3 on the playoffs. I semi stand. Corrected, except that others getting important minutes are low 20% if even that. So they weren’t quite ready.
People keep speaking on that Bulls team like they had no competition. I don't even have to pull anything up. I am looking at the Celtics, the Lakers, and the Pistons. How many hall of fame players played on those teams? How many hall of fame players played in the league during Jordan's era? How many played during that other guys time? Majority of top fifty players in Jordan's era, mind you that it has been stated that the guys playing during this time have been called the greatest class of all time?
Someone gave my dad tickets to him, well me and him went to watch but little sis we know we were sitting in the fold out chairs right behind court side, so glad I got to watch him before he called it quits and retired,
