Wow I had big struggles to find this out. I have watched many RU-vid video's but these where not good. Your video helped me a lot you deserve this comment. Normaly I never comment on RU-vid pages but thanks a lot.
And it just so happend that this video with a whopping 79 views, which had been published 10 years ago, saved my life! This was so goddamm helpful! THank you!
this not helping me at all. I have tried to rewatch this five times now and I cannot figure out what i am doing wrong with this. I want a page number 1 to start a specific page and it will refuse to start at that page, only starting at the cover page
Thank You! Thank you! I couldn't figure out (I spent HOURS on many different videos) why only number 1 came up and nothing after that (2, 3 etc.). Followed your video step by step and IT WORKED! You're a genius. Microsoft should hire you!
Still blows my mind that these Microsoft programs are soooo clunky and doing simple things are so difficult... If it's going to be this much of a run around, they may as well just include small page number fields that you can manually fill as you go.Itd be easier than all this tomfoolery.
My assignment was complete befor the deadline only inserting page number was the issue.... Really a big thanks to you!!!! I did it and submitted early🌼😊❤️
First; WHY DOES IT SAY "SECTION TWO ON PAGE 2 IN THE HEADER? Explain these differences. I see "Secion Break" Why is that there, I didn't put it in, so why is it in there? Should it say Section 2, and why should it. EXPLAIN this. Could this be why my doc's numbering is messed up? It restarts counting my pages starting with the number 1, and starting with number 2, seemingly randomly. Also, at one place it skips from Section 4 to Section 6, and restarts counting with the number 2. How do I fix this?
The additional section break is likely causing your problem. I suggest deleting all your section breaks at the beginning of your document - first five pages or so.. and start with "clean" pages that have no section breaks. Then start adding your section breaks to get your pagination the way you want it.
