My name is Babar Ahmad. I spent 11 years in prison from 2004-2015 in two countries, the UK and the US.
Ten of those years were without trial so I did not know when, or if, I may ever be released. Six of those years were in isolation, including two years in complete solitary confinement.
It is said that often there is light to be found in the darkness of the past.
In this channel I share stories from my years in prison. Real-life stories of hope, inspiration, adventure, humour, fear and loss.

I am terrified of quran because when i was child i memorised some part of it and i have now forgotten it i have lived a life of ignorance i dont what to do anymore
Also increasing the saying of istighfar ( seeking forgiveness of allah ) . There are many istighfar. Ex - astaghfirullah , rabbigh firlee , Allahummaghfirlee, dua of yunus as. Refer to surah nuh for evidence
I was crying at night asking Allah to cure me, when I woke up for tahajud went to washroom to perform wudu I felt some sweet scent, it was nothing from my cosmetics. Even when I came into the room I could smell that I looked around everything went outside to see if someone might have used perfume or something but there was nothing. When normally we smell perfume out of nowhere some we could feel it’s perfume. But this time I had different feeling and the scent was not like perfume.
This gave me so much hope, that my Lord will forgive me too and give me a good ending, if even our prophet’s own descendant had had alcohol in his past and was able to die is such a good state.
I’ve been following your story from my early teenage years & now I’m 35 & I’m Not practising my faith as I should & this is the honest truth but my dear respected elder & brother I have a question & it’s a serious one, I’ve heard many stories of many great men’s who participated in war with the communist Russia & many more through out time, they’re were strong in faith yet why didn’t Allah give them men’s martyrdom like he did with others brothers before them ….. I never understood this. Brothers who have been through hell on earth yet not martyrdom was given to them even during the later stage of their lives. Would love if you made a video because I know people who wish they’d die a martyr even if it has to be in their beds.

Lots of people will think this persons mad and he's talking rubbish, but I believe him because it happened to me twice, once when I was desperate and poor and needed €10 and I told 2 people who were with me before we lwalk out of this park which was about a 5 minute walk I am going to find €10 1 step before leaving the boundary of that park I found €10, I know it's not life changing but for a very poor 10 year old child who was desperate for that money it meant the world to me, sorry almost forgot and I kept telling the people with me watch it happen as if I was 100% certain, I knew it was going to happen totally weird. The second time was when a cat was starving with hunger and a person was trying to convince me not to go to a 24hr petrol/gas station in a ghetto area late at night but I said I'm going because the cat has prayed for me and I'm going to find money and there was €10 laying on the floor under the security hatch were you pay money, lucky, coincidence or divine intervention by ALLAH SWT the Good Lord you decide, I hope my story helps someone I'm not after likes etc and I'm not a mental case, hope not anyway.Thankyou for sharing your miracle I totally believe you.
