• This Embroidery effect is one of my favourites (yes sorry I do have a few 😍😅) • It has a very soft and fuzzy texture to it with a bristle-like appearance, hence the 🪥 Toothbrush Embroidery name • But as much as I love this, most embroidery factories are NOT so keen about them • This is actually very time consuming to make ⏳ and requires WAY more manual labour to physically finish the embroidery • Truth be told they'd rather you pick another technique instead of this one 😅 • But if you DO want to try this, I'd suggest using a smaller graphic design (perhaps no bigger than the palm of your hand 🖐🏼) to start with, so it's not too labour intensive and expensive to make • And most importantly, be prepared to commit to 300 units at least per design, which seems to be the average MOQ for something fancy like this • #embroideryeffect #embroidery #bape #graphicdesign #fashiondesign #designinspo #garmentmanufacturer #clothingmanufacturer #clothingproduction

Can I get this machine?

I find these videoes so interesting and helpful as i just started in working in factory. Disregarding my job as a graphic designer there, I'm required to know all the fabric and material used in every garment when digital drawing cads and its alot for a young person out of college to handle who never studied "fashion design", let alone doing mostly female garments instead of mens lol. Understanding tech packs like this video and how the process goes through you guys makes me appreciate the job even more as its alot of work and clothing is not easy. I'm learning alot on this channel❤😇❤️thank you

• Greige wool is still a raw yarn - like a blank canvas, which hasn't been dyed, bleached, or finished in any way, and it retains its natural lanolin (which doesn't smell that great unfortunately 😬🐑) • The production of greige wool in China has improved a great deal over the last decade, it use to be awfully coarse and prickly, which caused most of us to cringe on the thought of wearing wool sweaters 😖 • Nowadays they can be ultra-soft to begin with, which helps reduce the need for extensive processing, and making a comfortable/non-irritating finished product much easier to achieve • These scarf samples are ready to be sent off to dye a variety of colors 🌈 #knitwear #wool #knitwearfactory #garmentmanufacturer #fashiondesign #yarns

I usually know which fabric i want/need by the sense of touch and sight. But some websites don't do it justice. This is helpful for when I want to know which fabric to purchase for upcoming projects. • One of the many reasons why I adore Shanghai is that amid the modern high-rises and glitzy high-end retail stores, you can still chance upon heritage buildings and historic neighbourhoods • For example, Kristy and I were walking towards the Amiri flagship store on Nanjing Road and this charming old Chinese restaurant caught the corner of my eye as I walked past • Just tucked away discreetly from the busy road, and although it was raining and we didn’t have a lot of time on our hands (us being moms, of course we couldn’t leave without making the final mad dash to the souvenir store before our flight in the afternoon 🎁), I just had to get a closer look… like as if I had found an old hidden treasure 😍 • And indeed as it turns out, this restaurant is a historic gem, dating back to its founding in 1938 having once served as the favored gathering spot for socialites and politicians • #china #shanghai #chinesehistory #historicbuildings #antiques #travel #hiddengems

• I’m actually not a big fan of Starbucks coffee… maybe because I’ve lived in Australia for too long where there is such a demanding (and fussy) coffee drinking community ☕, which is also the same reason why Starbucks have struggled to establish a strong presence there for years • But I heard and seen glimpses of pictures of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Shanghai and I was keen to check it out while I was in the city • I believe there are only 6 of these in the world and the Roastery in Shanghai did offer an impressive array of experiences like no other ordinary Starbucks store • Firstly, it was beautifully designed with a ‘mini roasting and packing factory inside’ and a 40-ton copper cask as the centrepiece that roasted coffee beans • There’s also an Italian bakery called Princi, serving freshly baked bread, pastries, and pizzas • It was the first time Starbucks had partnered with Princi outside of Italy • Their coffee menu offered a more exclusive variety of Starbucks coffee drinks (sorry you’ll have to get your usual Frappuccinos and Caramel Macchiatos at the ‘normal’ Starbucks across the road) • And if you really want the full Starbucks coffee drinking experience while you’re here - you can take their coffee tastings and brewing classes to learn more about the intricacies of coffee preparation 🧐 • If you like coffee and you like the Starbucks brand, this is definitely worth a visit if you come to Shanghai • #travel #china #starbucks #starbucksreserveroastery #shanghai #coffeenation #coffeelovers
