To COmplicated For Me I am An Starter Not An Profesional Can I Just Use Turn Table also In MY DCC layoud even withoud use a decoder just want him to turn locomotives simple as posseble but not know how to wire it gos wires into my power suply of my dcc control centre ore need it be to my control centrol centre sorry if my english litle rusty i am from netherlands cheers
The polarity from start is changed as the turntable moves around - becomes + as it hits a diff angle stops short circuit if dc left rail wi alter to right rail so change polarity 4 these rails prob solved
Hi, thanks for the video, but something isnt quite clear to me yet, how do I change the address of a locomotive? My locomotives are all with their factory standard number 3 address...
Thanks for the vid. I Bought a new one of these yesterday for a TMD that I’m constructing. It is very toy-like. The first revolution had 2 of the spring contacts ripped to bits, obviously no quality control whatsoever. I removed all 4 of them directly after this disaster. It only lines up properly with the different tracks by driving it clockwise. If anti clockwise, it’s about 2mm out due to the slop in the gears. Basically it’s a toy, I’ll improve it and stick with it until I secure a better one.
So basically this is basically the same as using a DC controller with a reversing switch to control the turntable? You can't actually tell it to go to out-track 3 and then have it automatically stop? It's interesting to control it this way, but I don't see much advantage of doing this over a manual switch that can reverse the polarity. :)
did you fix the cab glazing? I've got one, and love it. I'd like to a) replace the blue-white headlights with warm white, b) permanently disable one tail light each side, and maybe c) replace the headcodes with domino panels or 0000. Don't quite have the nerve to dismantle it though!
think you may need to do a video with the volume on the decoder turned up, couldnt really hear it that well im afraid! iv got all mine on the max value, and they sound spot on
Very nice, how did you fit the decoder and speaker in? I've fitted a MX648+SugarCube 7 (YouChoos also) to a Dapol Britannia which was very easy but inside my 4MT it just didn't look to be enough space. Thanks.
