Its fairly easy to pull off. You just have to have the proper distancing to actually damage petetronic. Also its a bit different for paint path because you can softlock if you damage him too quickly
@@onionring-vd9tw I do enjoy the newer areas and movement, I wish the you carried more speed with the jumps tho. and some projectors I think are better, some are worse, its a mixed bag.
By Lss'ing in the projector transition cutscene (and then pausing because if you don't you'll softlock). You can carry the LSS state into the projector. And from there its just about gaining height and navigating the projector
Thanks! Theres quite a number of timesaves that I hope to improve upon in the future, as well as some additional skips that have been found since this run.
On the ps2 version of the game, runes can actually transfer between saves. All you have to do is play through the game getting runes, quit when you feel you've gotten a lot (I usually stopped at starkenstein) and then start a new game and repeat. I did it more than a dozen times so I have 100 speedstones in one save file.
and when you want to do a speedrun, you just load the file that has the speedstones, then quit out of it and start a new game. And just to repeat, it only works on the ps2 version, the PC version works a bit different and you cant do it on there to my knowledge.

No, unfortunately, the first time you are in this area there are several things that are different (slightly different room layouts and such) and one of those differences is the absence of a projector the first time.
This is not a TAS (but I did use savestates to accomplish this), however there is one being worked on by someone else in the community. @carryingautoclicks7501 (just search this channel name) if you want to check out a couple snippets of the tas that's being worked on.
By utilizing the flight glitch (lss) I fly over the first invisible wall and cutscene trigger, and when I hit hook the 3rd time, I walk into the cutscene trigger which just kills hook for no reason. Very goofy mickey mouse game.
