Great tutorial!! This has really helped me and my son to get our ollies. Getting the back foot up is harder than it should be😂. Do you have any tips to help ollie when moving??
Back foot not touching the ground (or commonly referred to pinning the tail) is definitely key to doing it properly. I have been practicing for months and even thought I can get some height I’m still somewhat pinning the tail. How to practice jumping on the board and adding the back foot ankle flick???
This comment was 1 months ago but i still cannot wrap my head on the back foot it slides up but my foot is in the way which looks wrong and feels wrong
This seems like it'll really help! I've been practicing all day (after work in a heat wave so I'm dead) and I aaaalmost got it, but I really struggle with the pop and jump. I'll try this tomorrow! Thanks!
I'm not too sure, I sometimes have the same thing when I try kick flip, you might be putting too much pressure into your ankle. Mines from the multiple twisted ankles
well i just started a few months ago (again after years) i can also ride and stuff. but everytime i do an ollie my boards nose turns like 45 - 90°. so after 4 ollies i did a 360 turn. cant help it. whats my mistake?
What you might be doing is flicking your backfoot behind you or infront of you without realizing it. there's also the possibility that your swinging your arms one way or another, causing your body to rotate. Honestly I have a similar problem, I always have a slight body rotation, with alot of my tricks, making them wayy harder to learn.
I'm hoping this tutorial blows up. I can Ollie now. I saw every other tutorial and i kept slaming my foot into the ground and I didn't understand what was wrong
