@@PathmakerProductions did you have to use a clock ring to run the dana 300? I just finished my hardbody 3 link and didn't realize case gears aren't a thing for 4 cylinder trucks, so now looking into a doubler.
Love your videos. Don't want to be a Karen. Just want u to be safe. Next time get in on other side if cable would've snaped you could've been crashed. Then no more videos
Its not a cable, its a rope, so if it snaps it just drops to the ground. Thats why you dont need to put a weight on the ropes, they dont have any stretch. So its fiiiine!
Sorry Brady I know it was a rope! You just climbed back in on the down hill side on your 2nd roll that's all. I do sketchy shit all the time. That's why I like your video's
Man that shrapnalled trunk @ your L-shoulder was terrifying. The climb around 24 min was so close, thought you had it! Don't like to be the guy diagnosing noises through video, but are you getting enough oil too the top of engine, valves and springs etc.? Almost sounds like a weak sending or a clogged sump pick-up.
If you watch to the end of the video I think I figured out the tick, my exhaust got smashed up under the floor and it broke my o2 sensor, so there is a brutal exhaust leak and also my not staying running at idle problem in one broken part! Should be lots of oil, I run a remote larger filter with extra oil and everything inside the engine looks clean enough to eat off of...........so you might be correct but I'll be replacing that o2 sensor first (as well as fixing my fan and rebuilding my bellypan!)
@@PathmakerProductions Cool, yeah that fan stuff gets tedious, have to run a full-time w/ clutch as I do not have the temperment for more wires to fail.
Clutch fan is how they are stock but because of our slow ground speed the fan doesn't spool up enough and I was always running hot. It looks like a blew the fuse on the fan switch and I'm guessing its because of the bearing noise/fan failing is causing some drag and therefore extra drag. That fan doesn't have a lot of life left in it.........but I swapped the 7.5amp fuse for a 10amp and shes back alive for another trip haha!
I remember circa 2004 when guys were welding square stock on the safety bead to try to get the outters to hold on better...........it worked but MAN was it not easy to break the bead later!
I guess this beats the super glue trick I used 20 years ago. I used to super glue the inner bead to the rim. It worked great until it was time to get the tire off the rim.
Have a Tire Machine, still not cool. No nuns, but I gave a few MoMo Missionaries a run for their money last fall. Do you have a deflator set for the trail?---really handy! Learned a little differently, one layer tape, light 'Right Stuff''gasket maker on top and 8" strips inverted w/ adhesive up. Maybe old-school but always felt steel was worth the weight, like a Raceline Classic-8. Nice work w/ mud-frame sucked back from leafs, pretty strong!
I don't have a deflator set......trail queen so the tires never change much from trail pressure. Deflator sets are sweet but much too fancy for a cheapskate like me!
Cheers! I figure it worth passing on some knowledge since Im doing the projects anyways. Its a pain filming while you go tho, much easier to just head down and bang it out!
Im impressed they weren't all gaulled out . Mine were in rough shape after 3 years . New caps lasted a few runs and they were destroyed and sloppy . Ran spicer after that. Were you upgrading shafts?
