I don't how to calculate the retention rate day 1 for month of may. I take the retained user on 2 second of may & divide them on the cohort size of the first day of the month of may .I need someone to correct me .Please
I dig it. Would love to implement for my business, but we are a brick and mortar retail operation, so we do not currently have an app. I imagine that the app itself is not particularly a challenge as much as it is a matter of use case.
MAUs is a great metric. Remember that we have to define "Active". If Active is well defined, it makes sense to track engagement. Remember that Facebook's main metric is DAUs.
really good content guys - i am using it for my app Ultiself (ultiself.com) and it helps a lot. love the part about focusing on on-boarding to help with retention
best of luck with your attempt at blatant mass data collection! By the way, "Extremely friendly user interface" is not a core competency of your app, its an industry standard. I would suggest some slight editing to your website and a narrower image of your target consumer psychographic profile, seems like your app is trying to do too much all at once.
All ad networks have its pros and cons - concerning the outlook of ad formats, CPC, eCPM etc., and you have to test them in order to see if they work for you or not. At the moment, I use MonadPlug and its results are better than 99% of other ad networks..., and I would not know that if I did not test their network. Simple.
Helpful content. One thing I can't stress enough is to pick a good network for monetization. I increased my profit by 30% just by switching to MonadPlug.
This push thing is so interesting. I had no idea I could squeeze out extra revenue from the same amount of traffic by simply adding push monetization to my sites. Currently I use MonadPlug, works great with AdSense.
Maybe I'm unclear - geo fencing, location based advertisement aka stalking a prior customer all the while drawing down their charge? not seeing how is this customer service?
