I also had a .26 laying around and all I did was put it in I extended the rear end a good 3.5 inches and got longer drive shaft and way better then the 2.5 power now

Those trucks were awesome ,I too wish that they weren't discontinued ,as so did Thunder Tiger discontinued their whole line of engines that powered these beast! It was about 5 years ago give or take that Thunder Tiger sold all of their engine line that they had in stock all on sale practically giving it away ,I had missed out on the sale as I seen the add too late , all of the 15 ,21 ,28 & 8.0's were sold out! Thunder Tiger manufactured those engines for Team Associated and their trucks! Awesome run of that beast an loved to see it in action again!..😎💯👍

Love the Rampage xt platform! I have the XT, XB buggy, and I'm working on an XR rally. What makes them special is the weight- at least 10 lbs. lighter than all other fifth scale 4wd trucks! I converted the XB hubs to 24 mm hex since tires for them are non-existent. Shame they discontinued the XB, XR, and TT versions. Only Rampage gassers left are the XT, and MT, but that's a different truck that weighs 33 lbs. Xt is around 23..

I gave up when I realized the chassis needed to be cut. The story started with me buying a tmaxx for my cousin which was a roller but i wanted a new engine for him and didn’t feel like spending the money for a 3.3. I bought a .28 just like yours but I instead bought a .19 instead. Glad to find someone who did it! I wanted to get him a big block but it’s still his first ever nitro.
